I’ve passed by here a couple of times and didn’t think to try it. Until, Johnny Cage from 104.3 commented on his morning show that he liked the brisket burrito so my husband and I decided to try. My husband ordered the smothered burrito plate in green and red sauce and I ordered the Asada Torta. Both came out very good! We will be coming back to try out other items in the menu. Unfortunately the shakes are seasonal but they have aguas frescas.

While I usually love this place for their enchiladas, this time I got the Miner Bowl which was gross. It was just liquid (see picture). Staff members just told us that it was water from the lettuce and chicken. It was inedible with the amount of liquid. It was way too soggy to be a salad. We had to ask two different staff members to finally get them to redo it. They kept handing it back and saying “it’s just water, drain it.” I paid a good price for this meal, I don’t want to have to do their job for them. Also- taking the food I already ate back to the kitchen to drain is a health code violation. The people working made an already bad meal worse. Upper management don’t seem to care either.

Overall, the aguas frescas are their best feature. I love that they have a special every month? I tried the fiesta bowl and is good but nothing out of the ordinary. The attention was kind and pleasant.

Oddly, for a new place it already seems old inside. Food was ok but i have had better carne asada fries at local food trucks. Employees were disinterested. We ordered chips and salsa to get started which were dropped off with our food. Guac was sold as guac but it was more a creamy avocado salsa then real quac.

You will be pleased. Jonnie took our order and represents the establishment very well. This location has a food court atmosphere. Nice. Horchata tastes homemade. My sister said with a smile that her Cucumber drink is good. Their other aguas frescas are just as satisfying. Refried beans with Cheese and Spanish Rice are delish. Smothered Green Burrito with Chicken is flavorful with just a hint of heat. I like how seats are quickly cleared and sanitized after customers are done. Please tip them well and with cash. Enjoy!

Delicious! I tried their hatch Chile enchilada plate and loved the flavor. Their rice and beans are on point. The place is nice. Their area sound acoustics could need some work because the sound bounces off every corner and it is do to the noise bouncing off the ceiling and concrete floor. But if you don’t mind that everything else is fantastic. I also tried their bubulubu agua and it was spot on for the taste.

Honestly I was not thinking this place would be as great as it was! The decor is lacking excitement when you first walk in but the food definitely gave me something to be excited about! I had the Chicken Flautas and made them supreme by adding guacamole and sour cream with a small Horchata and a blue Pineapple drink. Everything was so good and the Flautas were so big and full of chicken that I couldn’t finish them. Highly recommend and will be returning!

Used to get the fiesta bowl at the Las Cruces location on university ave, the food there was great. In the west El Paso location I got the same plate and the taste of the meat was very different in a negative sense. Also, for being a light dish, there was a lot of fat left at the bottom of the plate when I finished. I do not recommend eating at this location.
