Ms. Donna was great from the time we walked in. However the food took over an hour to receive and was cold. I saw a waitress microwave our meal to get it warm to serve. I ordered steak and eggs and it tasted like my steak was boiled or microwaved not grilled. Again, our waitress, Donna, was awesome and tried her best to accommodate us, but that is the best I can say about Ma’s place at this time. I don’t normally leave reviews but the food was the worst I had in a very long time.

Sweet little mom and pap restaurant. The daily special was great, the portions filling, and the service was what was expected…… excellent!
We went for breakfast and was warmly greeted and sat by the hostess. Our cups never ran empty,due to the outstanding waitress.

Was at TBL for a sales meeting and went here with 12 people. They were very accommodating. The service was friendly and the food was great! I’d highly suggest the pulled pork!

Ma’s Place was fantastic! Our server, Jessica, was amazing—professional, attentive, and genuinely warm. The food was outstanding. I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My wife ordered the chopped brisket sandwich and absolutely loved it. Great service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

I had to make a quick run to Ma’s Place to pick up a to go order…but it was cold and I had a small dog in my vehicle straight from the Vet appointment. The sweet gal that took my order offered to bring it out to my vehicle so my dog wouldn’t be out in the cold!! This is the kind of customer service that will ALWAYS bring me back. Too many places aren’t very customer service oriented and my experience here has always been great! Thank you!!

Melisa our server was spot on her game. She kept our drinks filled and answered all questions.
The meal was breakfast that was served all day but it as a feed you not fool you portion size.
In total the check was not expensive at it was 48.00 after tax.

The food would have been much better if it had been hot. We weren’t able to provide this feedback because we didn’t see our server after the food was brought until we flagged them down in another room to get the check. Several other tables had issues while we were there. Maybe it was an off day. The tip was reflective of the service. Kind of hard to get out of the parking lot due to the location. Bathrooms could have used some freshening up.

I have been to many diners in many different parts of this country and this place is by far in my top 5. Awesome small town homey feel. The food and service is excellent. Best crispy hash browns I’ve had in a long time. Sausage links aren’t just your Jimmie Dean sausage either. I’ll be back here!

Love Ma’s Place. If you are in the Kimberly City area, make this a stop! Great breakfast! Great service! They get busy, bu that didn’t hinder the service! Hailey was our waitress today. And she rocked it! She made sure our drinks were filled the entire time. Food orders were quick.
