Great, great food. I was happy to see that the Wednesday special is meatloaf. It was so good, and so filling, that I HAD to have some chocolate pecan pie too!

We’re definitely coming back for more. The service was sweet and very friendly too. Thank you!

My family and I needed a family friendly place to have lunch and we came across this restaurant.

The food is classic Southern comfort style.
Some of the family had The fried chicken. It was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The catfish is equally amazing which was light, flaky, and not overly greasy. But the real star? The homemade pies!

The service was fast and friendly, and the prices are more than reasonable for the generous portions you get. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Mary’s Kitchen is worth stopping by

The shrimp & grits were amazing, I’m from New Orleans, and this is pretty much the highest quality creole dish I’ve had in this area so far. Authentic Southern Louisiana flavor.

What a wonderful surprise! This small kitchen has the best food and service! Never mind their pies! I had the pork chops and my daughter had the meatloaf and both dishes were fresh, hot and delicious! Portions are big and you will def. be satisfied. Restaurant was nice and clean. Waitress and Manager were both very nice and friendly! We will def. be returning. There are many other dishes I want to try. My daughter was drooling over the pies and could not decide, the waitress gave her a sample of another pie and so she got to try two! Thank you Mary’s Kitchen! Excellent!!!

The waitress rose was absolutely. It’s amazing and very sweet. I defer recommend coming in there and trying their fried chicken. I will definitely be back to try some of their homemade pie. Food came out perfect and fast. I’m kind of surprised me. but I have no complaints.

Dena was absolutely lovely and she took very good care of us.We had coconut cream pie and banana pudding to start our meal with because they looked so good. The chicken and dumplings was delicious and homemade. My chicken tender salad was fresh and the sweet tea hit the spot. I could tell that this is where the locals go to get good food. The macaroni and cheese is made on site and you can tell that everything is made with love.

Man, this place is so good! We stopped in for a late lunch and loved our entrees we got. The pies were absolutely amazing. The Coconut cream and Key lime were both so tasty! We can’t wait to come back on Thursday to try their banana pudding

Mary’s Kitchen surprised me in the best way! The fried fish was seasoned just right with a perfectly crispy cornmeal crust. I don’t even eat hush puppies, but theirs were so good I ate every bite. The mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor, easily my favorite side. The green beans tasted like the canned kind, so not really my thing, but the rest of the plate more than made up for it. The restaurant itself feels a bit outdated, but it’s clean and comfortable. Friendly service and generous portions made it a win.

This restaurant is “Old School “. There is nothing wrong with that.
The portion size is great. The service is good, too.
The restaurant was filled with old people. That is why I was there. I was taking my 82 year old mother to dinner.
The decor is old and homey.
The food is southern comfort food.
Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, okra…
Nightly specials and reasonable prices.
