Mary’s Kitchen is located on Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach. Mary’s Kitchen is near the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Mary’s Kitchen is six blocks from the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Breakfast is is served from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mary’s Kitchen has been in business since 1951, over 60 years in business. My late uncles were well known Bishop, Pastors, and Chefs to many around the world. When going out for breakfast Mary’s Kitchen was their place with a special front center corner table. I usually order the Local Favorite or Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. Mary’s Kitchen has great menu options. The employees are super friendly. Large free parking lot is available.

Service is outstanding. We are locals who become tourist. If you are visiting Virginia Beach and looking for a spot with good home cooking, go to this place. This is a spot now on our list to go during the off season. The food was good. I love a simple breakfast and it met every expectation. The restaurant is diner style and cozy. Highly recommend!

We went with the sausage and gravy biscuits and the croissant sandwich. Both super solid. I think the portions/proce could have been better. There really wasn’t enough gravy on the biscuits BUT the flavor was indeed there. The side of bacon was pretty great too! Lots of in house made pastries and desserts. Great stop! Will return!

I’m very familiar with VAB area but this was first visit here. Defintely will add to “must go again” list. I’m a fried green tomato fan and places serving this are hard to find. My order was Avocado toast, bacon, grits and fried green tomatoes- all delicious. Don’t recall what my companion ordered but he said it was very good. I enjoyed beach vibe with surf boards overhead and posters on wall.

Good place for American breakfast. Friendly service. As a vegetarian we tried veggie omelet, salad and pancakes. We tried this restaurant as this is one of the old and family owned restaurants in the area.

Our server, Ms Kim, was so kind, attentive, and accommodating. The food was banging. Side of avocado was huge and perfectly ripe. French toast was ahhhmazing. Tomorrow is my birthday and I got a brownie, complete with the whole restaurant singing to me! I’m 35yo, but totally here for it. Thanks for the awesome experience! We love this place and we were so happy it is still the local family spot that we grew up coming to That we can now pass to our daughter!

This is a great local American Breakfast spot. The biscuits are homemade, fluffy, and delicious. Everything ordered came out meeting our expectations. The coffee was fresh and we were in our seats within minutes of arrival. We were visited multiple times by our waitress and never had to ask for refills. The staff here were extremely pleasant and we had a good experience. Definitely give this place a try if you’re looking for ample parking and good food.
