I was here last weekend and had the BEST battered catfish I have ever eaten. It was perfectly coated and cooked…what a delightful find!!! I previously had the hand cut filet and was surprised to find it was ‘melt in your mouth’ delicious (and I ordered it medium-well)! The service is always fantastic and friendly and the owner stopped by our table to speak with us. Very nice lady and very welcoming establishment. I will be back,,,

The waitstaff is great and that’s where the 2 stars came from. If you like truck stop food I guess this is your place. I asked if they ever read any of the reviews and they said no. The place was fast and clean. Food seemed frozen and not what I was looking for but the waitress did suggest the Mexican place across the street. The reviews all looked pretty good to me…..

Took my fiancé to dinner here last night. Excellent all around. Customer service, food, atmosphere. Best steak I’ve had in quite a long time. First time I ever had a steak that I didn’t have to put sauce or something on. Waitress was very pleasant and kept checking to make sure everything was to our standards. We will definitely return here again.

I’ve visited twice. The first time the rare steak I ordered crunched from ice crystals! A little too rare. Obviously frozen not fresh. As teeny bopper wait staff were having a smoke and text break while using terrible language. The second and last time the bathrooms were filthy, the table was dirty, floors and fixtures looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since the building was put up. Waitress seemed to be more interested in talking to her friends than attending to patrons. I could go on. I’m guessing you get the picture.

We are visiting Moberly from out of state & went here with a large group (13 total). We were well taken care of. They did an excellent job of accommodating our seating needs (2 kids and 2 newborns) and still sat us all together in our own little nook of the restaurant. Our server, Shad, did an excellent job. The restaurant was clean, food was hot and fresh, and our drinks and rolls were kept topped off. We have family that lives local and will definitely be coming back again!

Stopped in passing on business. Ordered the 8oz bacon-wrapped sirloin (medium), salad, and buffalo chips and draft Boulevard.
Beer price is high IMO.
Steak was cooked correctly, but grade of meat was tough with no char-flavor, so used steak sauce to help (taboo). Bacon was floppy and fatty.
Buffalo chips – nice.
Price was only $12 for the the meal.
Staff was kinda and efficient.
Would I retun, likely – given limited option in the area, and the price is reasonable for the meal.

Went there a month ago ordered steak medium got well done asked for no sour cream on potato had to send it back because had sour cream didn’t get Texas toast. When the bill came even before had a chance to look at it the waiter asked if are you going to want change back. Probably the worst experience I ever had had at a restaurant.

Food was good; however service was bad. It wasn’t even busy. Some of the male staff were wearing tank tops with arm pit hair showing, and one of the girls was wearing short shorts. Not exactly family friendly, if I’d wanted my children to see that much butt cheek, I’d taken them to Hooters. We will not be back.

Excellent midwest beef here. If you want your steak done rare, make sure you really get the waiter’s attention so he emphasizes it to the chef! This is a nice restaurant in the area with family friendly kind of service. We come here to relax and enjoy a big meal.
