Wonderful smelling and tasting food with fresh being added as customers arrive, pick up and dine in or take out. I was greeted with courteous smiling employees serving with grace. They offered a sample to ensure the decision satisfaction. I dined with a friend. I had the chicken florentine with rigatoni and my meal brightened my day! The spot is on the Local by toast app so you can also accumulate reward points.

I ordered two beef pastelillos for delivery (as I ate them a lot around here when i was younger) and they tasted even better than I remembered :)) They were still hot and crunchy when they got here despite doordash-ing it! Bag sealed nicely, receipt all there, really yummy! I’d definitely order again.

Mary Jane’s Kitchen is a fantastic new spot in the Wyomissing area! The food is absolutely delicious, and the environment is spotless. The friendly service makes the experience even better. There’s plenty of parking available, and the restaurant is fully handicap accessible. It’s truly a great addition to the neighborhood—the list of positives goes on and on!

Forgive the photo but it was smelling so dang good I opened it for a taste and then it was half gone and I was like oh no a photo for review. This was delicious. The white rice is even seasoned well it is all so good. The prices are really reasonable for what you get and the staff was A+++ from walking in to leaving it was a great experience and the backstory is even better. I can’t wait to go back to try more.

Fun little spot . Did enjoy the food , I took a small little point off as I felt some of it was just a bit too salty but overall not bad . Generally Latin food has flavor adobos sazon sofrito . I felt some of the main dishes relied heavily on salt but with a few tweaks in flavor they’ll have no issues keeping us coming back . Def worth a try . Ty ❤️ Pastelillos were delish .

Let me start with the positives—the store was very clean and the staff were extremely nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations.

Despite being marketed as Latin / Italian fusion cuisine, the flavors didn’t align with traditional Latin / Italian Fusion dishes. The chicken piccata was one of the few highlights and even that was just okay. The rice did not resemble Spanish rice, and the fiesta chicken lacked the flavor and vibrancy its name suggests. The shrimp was bland and underwhelming.

The empanada crust was excellent—crispy and well-prepared—but the fillings left much to be desired. We tried the cheesesteak empanada, which sadly didn’t remind us of a Philly cheesesteak in any way.

Another major issue was portion size. The sides, particularly the protein bowls, were literally half full. For over $50 (two platters and two empanadas), the value just wasn’t there—especially considering the many Dominican spots nearby that offer bigger portions and more authentic flavors at better prices.

I was genuinely excited to try this place after hearing about it, but I left disappointed. Sadly, I don’t see myself returning.

Ok so boom when you walk in it smells really good! I noticed they greet every customer coming in which is really sweet. Their food is really good! I been there three days in a row for lunch. First visit I had the citrus chicken with white rice and beans. Citrus chicken is on the sweet side & mixes really well with the white rice and beans imo. Second visit I had Spanish rice and sauteed vegetables with the chicken florentine. That bowl was soooooo good I was like hot damn. Portions are fair for the price imo. Third visit I had the beef and cheese pastellios which I’m honestly about to go over there right now and get some more because they were so good. Like others I didn’t know what to expect being that it’s a Latin + Italian fusion but they really did their big one. Give them a try those two white boys are SEASONED & can throw down in the kitchen

Food was absolutely delicious!! We got the citrus chicken, Spanish rice, chicken and beef pastelillos, cayenne steak and fiesta chicken. Everything was perfect! The staff was super friendly when I picked up, making small talk and asking about my day. Recommend times a million!!

The Absolute best Uber Eats Order I’ve ever had. The rigatoni hit the spot especially with added shrimp and the sauce mixed in. Everything was Perfection.

My order of Spanish rice w/ veggies & cayenne steak was delicious! 5 to the young lady with beads in her hair bc she told me about the slight upcharge for steak. Noone likes to be surprised at the register! Clean environment and friendly staff…the food is highly seasoned, so that may bother some people watching their sodium intake.Good eats including the pastelillos & churros Don’t forget the mayo-chup!
