The food is delicious and tasty, there isn’t a single thing served that is bland or without thought in the plate. The potatoes are yummy, and the omelets are stuffed and so flavorful.

We had the Marvin scrabble, California Benedict, Corned beef Benedict.

I’m biased I love an American diner and this is one of the best, that can be seen by the clientele of locals on a Thursday morning…loved it

Gets busy quickly, but the wait is worth it. I live in Vacaville and if I’m over there I make sure to stop by. I like to sit at the counter and chat with “Arnold” the owner/chef. Their pancakes are huge and gooey, the cinnamon walnut French toast is so good it doesn’t need syrup, and there’s like 10 different types of eggs benedict.

The best place to eat breakfast in Marin county that’s my opinion & I am sticking to it. The food is delicious. The price is definitely worth it. Best bang for your buck. Nicole & Chuck who are theowners make me feel like family every time I come in. The staff is wonderful. And the restaurant is very clean.

I came to Marvin’s Breakfast Club with a friend for breakfast. The atmosphere was nice, and the food overall was good. I had pancakes and my friend had waffles with eggs. Everything was cooked well, and the portions were fair.

The biggest letdown for me was the syrup. It tasted watery and bland, which really took away from the experience. For a breakfast spot, especially one that serves pancakes and waffles, I expected better. A richer, more flavorful syrup (or even options) would make a big difference.

It’s the little details like that that matter, especially when pancakes are on the menu. I’d consider coming back, but I really hope they improve the syrup!

Marvin’s used to be our weekly hangout breakfast place. They had the best breakfast in town, good quality food and good portion. They have been going downhill the past years, I ordered egg Benedict and the plate looked so awful, chef just dumped everything on top of each others. I couldn’t find my eggs (they were little round boil eggs hiding). The ham quality so poor, very chewy. Since they know all regular customers are keep going there, the prices are double than before and chef is so busy, food are terrible. We found another breakfast place in Novato.

Been coming to marvins for 30 years. Will never be back! They shoved my pregnant wife and 3 year old into a corner seat saying they would move us to a 4 top as soon as one opened up. As soon as one opened up, they must’ve changed their mind somewhere along the way. Instead of giving us the table as the woman told us, they sat down another group of 3 who they claimed had been waiting 20 mins…if they were waiting 20 mins and we hadn’t even placed our order yet, that speaks more towards your terrible customer service than anything. Happy we walked out. Had a lovely breakfast just down the street. Don’t tell your patrons one thing and then change your mind when it gets busy. You just lost a loyal customer… regardless past 2 times I’ve gotten sick or I’ve gotten cold food eating here. They’ve gone downhill. Yuck. Gross food. Gross people.

We visited on a Friday morning for brunch with our young kids. Despite it being a weekday, the place was quite lively. We ordered French toast, vegetarian benedicts, and waffles with fruit—everything was delicious and of great quality. The staff was friendly and attentive. There are two seating options, and we chose to sit outside. The spot has a charming, rustic, and old-world vibe. We would definitely return.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a really long time. Absolutely delicious. Wait staff is super fast and friendly and menu is extensive.
I had a Benedict dish and the eggs were poached to perfection, the English muffin was some kind of magical grilled wonder, and the sauce was true Hollandaise sauce.
I wish I could have tried every item on the menu.
We will be back every chance we can get.

Best breakfast ever! I had the chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs and hash browns. My husband had a ham and cheese omelette with potatoes. We ordered a side pancake, which was huge and delicious! Everything was amazing! I didn’t want to stop eating! Fluffiest eggs I’ve ever had. The chicken fried steak with gravy was so good! I can’t say enough about how good the food was! The space is small, but we enjoyed sitting at the bar!
