This is a wonderful little cafe with seating area if you want. Plenty of sushi items, all kinds of food and desserts, coffees and teas. Walk in the back area – great gifts and all things Japanese for your home. We bought a lot. Staff very friendly, even though it was the end of the day and they were ready to go home, they did not rush our browsing. Will go again.

NEW OBSESSION. Thrilled to have found this gem. The mart is fully stocked with countless authentic Japanese food, snacks, seasoning, and drinks. Their coffee section has a large refrigerated section of ready-made meals as well. Yummy, fairly inexpensive, and *definitely* my new go-to place.

Lovely little cafe located in the Maruichi Market. You pay seperately for items from here, located to your left when you enter. They have a variety of sweet pastries, savory items, and of course beverages to enjoy.
Had quite a nice Earl Grey Bubble tea here that hit the spot. Followed it up with some curry bread. The curry bread was warm and filling though it is only available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Nice little place to visit for food and drink!

One of the best Asian mart slash supermarkets in the area! The deli makes genuine Japanese convenience store foods that I missed a lot from. My vacation to Japan. Everything is accurate and imported appropriately! Come her for any of the Asian flavors you wish to bring home for great homecooked meals or grab a meal on the go from. The deli section!

Fantastic market with fresh produce AND a crazy good lunch menu (tucked away in the back). We got fried chicken and ramen and tonkatsu! Would highly recommend.

Beautifully clean and organized store of all things Japanese. Delicious onigiri and sushi. Excellent cafe with Ogawa coffee and of course the best green tea. I highly recommend going here for your Japanese groceries.

I am deeply grateful for the ever-growing Maruichi Supermarket. The staff work so hard to bring us the delicious flavors and culture of Japanese home cooking. It’s a wonderful place that eases my homesickness for Japan. I’m sure many others feel the same way!

Nice place for Japanese groceries, but a bit pricey. I usually go to Daido or H Mart for most of my stuff. Mariachi does have a few good deals though.

Maruichi is a very needed Japanese store, with all the authentic classics. The food is varied and imported, ranging from seafood to fruit, sweets, snacks, vegetables, etc. They even have uni and ikura!! I wish this store was closer to Danbury but im happy they are open anyways. If you’re craving something japanese but don’t have it in your market, this place is close and fair value.
