Look I know most of yall drinkers may already know about them but I still need to give Marty’s PM some love. I bragged about this place to my guys in Guest Relations at Kami-Con enough to the point a bunch of them including our special guest went there and ate multiple nights. Even got to a point where I heard they did some type of special or something for anyone that showed there Kami-Con badge and I heard they want to do something again for next year. Since it’s a bar and I don’t drink I probably wouldn’t have known about Marty’s if it wasn’t for my buddy Tony who took me and a few others here.

Not paying any money regardless of the amount to get into a two bit, alley cat, dive bar they asked a bunch of questions at the door talking about a “private club” food is sub par, smells like urine throughout the entire building. Friday night at 11:30 and there was maybe 10 people I won’t pay to get into a nightclub that has a huge crowd unless it’s just over the top treatment. Save your money and go to mcds, and a free entry bar with air conditioning and cleaning standards.

First off right at the door they asked $5 to enter and to “become a member” and wanted to know my occupation like it’s some exclusive club. When I went in, there was only 1 guy in the entire bar… real exclusive. I got the Big Mick which was a copy of McDonald’s Big Mac… Just save your time and money and get the Big Mac at McDonalds. There are much better burgers and much more fun bars all over town that you don’t have to be a “member” to go to. Bad food, bad environment, bad management.

Marty’s was an absolute hidden gem. Late night eats and adult beverages until 6am!!?? With a membership that makes you feel uber important (its 5 bucks) Who woulda think it?!?! Not me!! We ordered Beyond burger pattie melt and Potatoes soup (the soup is HOMEMADE!!) OMGOODNESS!! it was grilled cheese and potatoes in a soup with toasted texas toast ! So delicious!! The burger juicy flavorful grilled with cheese then grilled and toasted to a crunch that you can hear!! Sorry we ate the patty melt before we got pics the soup barely made it!! Shantay is an amazing joy!!

So I used to go here pretty much evernight when I was a server in uptown. I’m just in spot right now where can’t spend that kind of money. But if u have money for it. Definitely my favorite and best bar to go to eat. Love that Doritos come with every meal.chili cheese dog is incredible. Drinks are all good. Y’all are 1 of 2 or 3 places I will ever go to for drinks and only bar. This deserves more than 5 Star. Bartenders are pretty cool. Great basketball convos and help me get through though times. I wish I could buy y’all’s place just so I can eat there whenever I want to. And drink It’s all love from me

I came to get takeout since it states here that they offer takeout, but the guy would not let me in unless I paid the cover fee and showed him my ID. Like I’m just trying to get some food and leave. I would’ve bought food for $30 something, which is like the cover fee for 6 people. Come on, be smart with your business, at least take the orders outside if you don’t wanna let people in without paying the cover fee. There’s like 5 old people inside the bar, why would you turn away your customers, regardless if they came for food or drink?

Look here, so my mans and I tried going to a bar closest to the Indigo. Unfortunately the kitchen had closed so we was referred by the doorman that Marty’s was open till 4am. So we made the short walk and as skeptical as I was when I first walked in, this place was the highlight of my night. I wasn’t expecting good drinks, good food, great service and Karaoke. I will definitely be back.
