Food was just okay. I am always perplexed when BBQ restaurants don’t have baked beans as this one did not! Mac & Cheese tasked very boxed. I don’t recommend the boiled potatoes either. The chopped BBQ, hush puppies, and coleslaw were all tasty, though. The restaurant has very few tables so you REALLY have to wait and seat yourself. I will come again, but my expectation for sides is low.

Best BBQ and fried chicken in North Carolina. We stop in for Marty’s every time we go through or near Wilson. I stop in when I work in Wilson. Sometimes, I grab a large family meal to go and bring that home for some brownie points with my wife and kids.

Ordered a wing value meal and got home and opened my plate to wings that were smaller than my fingers. The hush puppies were bigger than the wings I had. The wings didn’t even have meat on them, it’s was only skin. If I wanted skins I would have went and got a bag from the store. I took them back and the young cashier and the girl in drive thru said those are the only wings they have. I told them that they need to let their customers know that when ordering, and since they have no bigger wings I wanted a refund. The cashier had a nasty attitude and then a young nice black woman came from the back to address my concern and she told me that they did in fact have bigger wings and so she apologized and told him

The lady at the front desk with the short hair & glasses was very rude. If you don’t want to help customers then maybe you should work in the kitchen or not up front with customers. Definitely won’t be back. Only two of their workers were welcoming. A retraining of staff and customer service needs to be done because sadly I’ll be telling people I don’t recommend eating here.

Overall great prices. Excellent service at highly recommend them to anyone that’s looking for a nice place to eat out, especially the family. But you can tell cuz there’s always a line of cars around the building whether they’re inside or outside getting food

Great customer service at the drive-thru with the cute girl but it was 45minutes from closing and the food was dry and flavorless. The soup was the only thing that we could taste flavor from the spices. The lines are usually long but this is not the best BBQ I’ve tasted. The chicken did not have enough meat on it. Hope they improve on the all sides.

The first visit was great. My last visit was horrible I drove 2 hours away me and my family to have been served cold food. Unseasoned BBQ and hot banana pudding. Flies flying everywhere fighting on our table and when I asked for hot chicken these kids threw it in a paper bag. How rude and so disrespectful. People don’t eat out of bags they could have put it in a tray. Just horrible.
