This restaurant was outstanding both in terms of service and dinner options. Our waitress Vanessa took great care of us from start to finish! Welcoming, knowledgeable, and so very charming. It was the perfect place for dinner before going to the theatre to see Chicago. We loved our experience and could not have had a better waitress than Vanessa who gave us outstanding recommendations for our meals. Thank you!

Restaurant was nice and with a great view. Food was very good. Loved the presentation. Portions were quite small but, I didn’t mind as I prefer smaller dinner. Would come back if the menu is different as they have a fixed menu.

Perfect place for some good indian food. If you don’t like spices, the chef can tailor make it for you as per your liking.

The atmosphere was absolutely outstanding, drinks were great, however the service from the greeter and server was less than…. was also expecting much more from the food which was such a let down. That being said, I would definitely go again just for the drinks and location.

We dined at Marti’s years ago—pre pandemic—and it was lovely. We gave it another try again tonight before a show, and had a horrible experience. They only offer a prix-fix set menu before shows, at the price of $59.50 a person. The portions are tiny. Sadly, the kitchen is not properly staffed or equipped to serve a crowd dining before the theater. We arrived at 5:45p for dinner before an 8pm show, and that wasn’t even enough time. Everything was slow. We waited 35 minutes to get our dessert, after begging our server several times, and watching everyone around us receive dessert. We paid our bill before dessert ever arrived. Won’t be returning. There’s many other options for pre-theater dining—SKIP THIS ONE.

Do not dine here if you have reservations at the Broward Performing Arts Center. In fact, just don’t dine here at all.

I visited this restaurant last Saturday for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised with the dinner. Even though it was a set menu I truly enjoyed the 3 course meal. You have to try the yuka puff they melt in your mouth. Presentation and flavors are on point. John the server was so attentive and knew what to recommend. He knew that I was attending the theater and he made sure everything was on schedule. If you have tickets for a play get there early and have dinner or drinks at Marti’s New River Bistro!

This was my first time at Marti’s. My friend and I were seeing a show and decided to stay close to the theater so we could enjoy good food, the river, and catch up. Our server was wonderful. She was attentive and always had a smile. The drink from the bar was good. The menu is set for the night and offered unique choices of everything from the appetizers to dessert. The appetizer was good, a fried kimchi flavored rice ball. The people at the table next to us said the shrimp Bloody Mary was uneventful. Flat. Bland. The biggest disappointment was the main course, which was to be butternut squash, farro and risotto. My dish did not have any butternut squash, only a chunk of a hollowed our skins filled with farro. The farro/risotto was dry and flavorless. Risotto is creamy, no? I tried to scrape out squash from the skin, but it was hard-not cooked. $70 for one person is a lot of money to be this disappointed. We won’t be going back.

This restaurant is beautifully set & very picturesque with the lawn & river view out the window. That’s where everything else stopped

Let me start with, I have NEVER left a bad review for any place. My fiance and I stopped at Marti’s as a last minute meal before seeing Riverdance on Saturday night (01/06/18). The next day I woke up sick to my stomach with food poisoning! I believe it was the shrimp avocado poke I’d ordered for an appetizer. I was literally sick the entire day sunday, barely able to function let alone care for our 3 children. What was supposed to be a nice evening to ourselves (which we hadn’t had in over a year) was instead blanketed by an entire day of recovery the very next day. Like I said, I don’t like to complain let alone leave a bad review, but after the way I felt the next day I feel it is needed!
