Very good American style brunch. Nice chairs outside. We were there around 9am in a weekend morning and it wasn’t busy. Their avocado toast which came with salmon was our favorite. Kids liked their pancake. The staff are polite and welcoming. We found a parking spot, but maybe we were too lucky.

Charming and historic tavern in Georgetown. It has everything you need for a flawless and enjoyable meal. We sat in a booth in the back, which is secluded and quite lovely. I couldn’t resist and ordered the Martin’s Delight Hot Brown. The dish is served in a cast iron skillet packed with flavors and cheesy goodness. It may seem small but oh boy will it fill you up! This entire place is radiating history and I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes.

This neighborhood restaurant with an old-world atmosphere is popular with locals and visitors alike! It’s very busy, so reservations are necessary for both indoor and outdoor seating ( that I prefer).

This is a must visit! Although book ahead as it gets busy. Lovely authentic tavern, complete with wooden furnishings, booths and eclectic decor. (Ask for the booth where JFK proposed to Jackie!) The menu has all the classics and they are huge portions. The crab cake sandwich was delicious, as was the French onion soup.

Fun historic little place. We reserved booth 3 online same day to sit where JFK proposed. Booth was very tight and very upright uncomfortable for my large body. But it was THE place so it felt cool to be part of history. We ordered the regular eggs benedict and pesto chicken pasta and bread pudding. All were amazing. Bread pudding was best ever had. Id give the benedict an 8 of 10. Service was so nice and helpful. Wisconsin street out front is fun to walk around. Lots of energy and fun shops. I can see why JFK would come here every Sunday. Great little joint.

Loved this place. A must if in Georgetown. Went here while in town visiting my daughter. A great story and history. Food was fabulous. Crab cakes , pot pie, chicken andouille fettuccine, and chicken Milanese . All delicious. Bread pudding and cheesecake for dessert. I would recommend reservations. Leave plenty of time for drive into Georgetown and finding parking. A busy place!

This is amazing!!! I’m obsessed with the food here, I ordered the taverns treat. 100% recommended. I tried my table mates New York strip with truffle butter and it was one of the most amazing things I have ever tasted. I also tried my other table mates London broil and it was very good!!! I absolutely loved this place and meal. The waiters were very kind and understanding when I asked for specific do’s and don’t’s and that’s exactly how it came.

This is always a good time. Seating can be a bit of a struggle depending on if you have a reservation and what time of the day, but normally we just make a reservation. The history of the restaurant is great, and it really reminds you of a old school NYC bar with a Cheers type of vibe. Food isn’t amazing, but it isn’t mediocre either. I can’t recall the name of my server I normally have, but he is amazing. If I can recall or locate my receipt, I will update my posting. I suggest going at least once.
