I do like the bakery and enjoy the fact that there are still places like this around where you can get fresh breakfast sandwiches. Sometimes I think they need to have a third person in the front to help out the other two girls. I’ve called several times before to order and just been put on hold for five minutes or longer. Sometimes I think the girls forget that I’m on hold. I called this morning three times and every time I was put on hold for several minutes. Then finally I get there and it is literally dead. Maybe four cars in the parking lot. And when I come in the girl actually picked up the phone and takes an order. I’m an understanding person and I get that it can be busy at times. But I wish they could figure out the order situation.

We ordered several ($73.44) of the stuffed breads for a retirement party. They were very very chunky and dry and did NOT hold together, like it was impossible to cut and serve them. The bread, in places, was so thin it could not be picked up and fillings just fell out. We could not even use more than half of them due to it looking an awful mess. The baker at Marlborough needs to re-think how these are made. We were very disappointed to get these failed “stuffed breads”

Got a red velvet cake. Too much icing! And the icing barely had any flavor of cream cheese. Tip to the baker: there is no substitute for butter in a buttercream icing even if it contains cream cheese. For lower cost I could have gotten an equivalent travesty from Big Y. Very very disappointed! I thought I was getting something special for Mother’s Day. No one at my gathering was impressed. Oh, same goes for the banana cream pie too. Half the cake ended up in the garbage can along with the rest of the banana cream. I am shocked by the high rating on Google. Clearly a lot of people don’t know what a good bakery is supposed to be.

The food was delicious, the fresh baked bread really added something special to 5he very nicely assembled turkey club. The space is large and the desserts were delicious. They are taking social distancing seriously so you can feel safe stepping inside and ordering something.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered a scrambled egg and cheese and they were lazy and still gave a fried egg on my order after repeating it back to me on the phone. Also asked is it shaved steak you put on the sandwiches like a steak and cheese and she just continued to agree and say yup, it was a nasty block of steak and very chewy. Also the home fries were burnt to a crisp. Very lazy and will not be ordering from here again.
