Absolutely love this place! Great selection of coffee(with ability to buy coffee they roasted) and food( croissant selection is good, their sandwiches are super tasty), it also has snacks for kids, so highly recommended! Never had bad experience there.

Turkey panini today was one of the best sandwich I ever had. Past curry chicken sandwich almost as good. Love having coffee and sandwich at this place on weekends! Highly recommend. 10/10.

In a charming town with hanging baskets and friendly locals we discovered this bakery for lunch. Lattes was great and the paninis were crusty and eclectic. Blueberry muffin was excellent . (I took one star off as we stared at the huge menu board for 5 minutes , ordered then were told actually none of them were actually available and to only pick from the display unit lol ). Has a very nice outside area and inside area. Parking around the corner . Nice Staff and Dog friendly 🙂 .

An enjoyable little cafe that serves all types of coffee ☕. Pastries, sandwiches, tea and canned and bottled drinks available. Friendly service! WiFi available.
I had the medium roast coffee with three donut muffins to wash it down. Both tasted good.
This place can get very busy! People were using the outdoor seating to enjoy their purchase.
I liked the lighting fixtures. Large mason jars with a small lightbulb inside.
Bathroom is handicap accessible and has a baby changing table.
Prices reasonable. I recommend a visit.

We found this lovely bake shop when we recently stayed in Amesbury. We enjoyed the atmosphere, great coffees in a lovely old brick building built within the old industrial buildings which have been preserved from the days of the mills. The sandwiches too were very good

A five-star review to a well-deserved location Market Square Bakehouse! Great service and the invigorating turmeric latte and delicious Swiss and Ham Croissant just made me feel so happy and delightful. What a treat! Especially a day like today that it rained most of the day. Thank you Market Square Bakehouse!

Market Square bakehouse is amazing! The pastries are perfection, solid $5 breakfast sandwiches, delicious coffee drinks and a fantastic atmosphere. It really pulls together downtown Amesbury and is a staple for the community. Also did I mention that literally everyone who works there is super nice?!
I only wish it was open in the evenings as well, especially on weekends.
Suggestions: veggie quiche, almond croissant

I love this charming coffee shop. Great sandwiches! I meet colleagues here for breakfast meetups and my husband I go almost every weekend as we refurbish an Amesbury property (we live in NH). We usually go on a Sat or Sunday just before closing time, it always surprises me that they’re open on weekends until 4 (I’m not sure if that’s standard or not, but I find myself really grateful that they’re open after a long day of manual labor) It’s a wonderful place for community to gather. I see families, workers, dogs, friends…a very popular place for people to relax in a proper downtown and you can’t beat the vintage charm of Amesbury’s downtown. A few weeks ago my husband and I were eating/sipping while watching some nice people rescuing a bird that had got into some trouble (had a string tied around its foot so it couldn’t fly). I did also run over to help but it was lovely to see strangers coming together to free the bird. MSB also just opened a juice store nearby and I can’t wait to try it.. Each time I’ve gone, they’ve just closed.
