This place is a taste of home! I love how they are authentic to the taste. We had red snapper, shark bites, and seven seas soup, every bite was delicious. The fish is fresh and the Chef even took time to come talk to us about the different dishes he can make. They have a great bar and music in the back. When summertime rolls around I can’t wait to sit on the patio and watch the Chef make a fresh tasty batch of ceviche. My wife and I definitely recommend this restaurant!

The food is good. The cocktail and the camarones al ajo were delicious. I was raised at the beach so I really appreciate fresh seafood. We didn’t order the mojarra or the siete mares soup but the next table from us did it. And it looked and smelled really good.

A great place to get freshly prepared seafood. We have eaten here twice now and all of the dishes have been excellent. I would suggest that you are better off getting a take out order, just because their dining area is quit small.

Small , hole in the wall type restaurant. The food was amazing, I had the devil shrimp with rice it was some of the best seafood I’ve had anywhere in NC . Has a family friendly environment in the front and a separate closed off area where the bar is located. Great place for anyone and everyone looking to have some great seafood and amazing service.

My family and I, just came back from an excellent lunch at Mariscos Mauricio. Having being born/raised in the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico, fresh seafood is ingrained in our genes/physiology… The closest to real/fresh seafood we have experienced at these inland coordinates, is at Mariscos Mauricio. Outstanding service by the attentive/fully engaged staff, the food is exceptionally fresh! For the naturalists/organic purists out there, your indicator species of freshness is the chopped cabbage… not oxidized/stale, cut three days prior… it is fresh cut/served within minutes. My family and I have found our sea food place in the Pines!!
