An amazing experience all around. Wait staff were so helpful in assisting us in choosing our meals. I had the fresh oysters which were HUGE! My friend had the shrimp ceviche which was very fresh and light and a large serving. My partner had the shrimp with garlic and soy sauce, I can’t remember the name but it was very tasty (so much flavour). Then we had lobster tails with garlic butter. Delicious! Very good value for money and only a few blocks from marina (a safe walking distance). Highly recommend!

I went to Mariscos La Palmita last night and come here today to compare, and I think I can fairly compare these 2 places because I ordered similar items in both restaurants. Conclusion is I personally prefer La Palmita. La Palmita is a family run restaurant and Las Tres Islas is purely business. Las Tres Islas is larger, and it offers plating for all dishes. There are abundant staffs to serve you while La Palmita has only a few family members. Of course, because of it, Las Tres Islas will ask for tips when you check while La Palmita does not. Back to the food: 1, For the chocolate clam, Las Tres Islas is doing better because their clams are larger. Commercial restaurants can get better clams from the fish market I think. Each one can be as big as my palm. And their cooks know a better way to make it taste really chocolatey. 2, For the coconut shrimp, La Palmita is better. The shrimps we got from Las Tres Islas are burnt and tastes a bit bitter. La Palmita family has their own recipe for the coconut shrimp. 3, For the Seafood platter in Las Tres Islas, it is just so so. Nothing impressive. Regular garlic fish, American style bacon cheese shrimps and tasteless deep fried shrimps, and some too soft texture octopus. (I don’t know if it is because the octopus are not fresh. ) It should be a bit chewy and crunchy when fresh. The entire platter is very greasy because it is purely butter. ⬆️It is only my personal opinions. I have a few restaurants in my city and my home town so I have a higher standard to foods.

We accidentally came this place for lunch. But since review was pretty good so we gave a try.
I like grilled shrimp tacos so that’s what I ordered. The restaurants I go in the US, grilled shrimp tacos come with some cabbage, carrots those shredded veggies, so I was surprised to see only shrimp when it came. Taste was great but I prefer eating with some veggies. Maybe I ordered wrong? I’m not expert so I wasn’t sure.
Ceviche was yummy! But I think you should do some research before you go!

I’ve been coming to this seafood restaurant for years, and it never disappoints! The seafood platter in the photo says it all — coconut shrimp, grilled shrimp, grilled fish with chili, octopus, and scallops — every bite was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked.

You can really taste the freshness and the care that goes into every dish. The coconut shrimp were crispy and sweet, the octopus was tender and full of flavor, and the grilled fish was seasoned just right.

The atmosphere and service always make the experience even better. This place is hands down one of my all-time favorites, and I’ll definitely keep coming back for many more years!

Not recommended.
1. Chocolate claws were not fresh. Bad taste.
2. Crab in Crab tostada was not properly cleaned, a lot of shells
3. Mixted seafood cocktail was ok, but also claws in it tasted really bad
4. fried shrimps were super oily
5. tacos were eatable

Was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. Snapper was huge, server with tortillas, rice and vegetables. We also had an order of the octapus. Have fun with it. Put random protein in your tortilla and enjoy the taste. They also have the spicy salsas for those who like it hot.
Oh yeah the dog was there aswell.

Shrimp and seafood ceviche were good but not the best. The tres island shrimp dish was good but would not order again. Big portion of grilled fish with garlic and veggies and rice were good. Service was nice but it’s only loud from the mariachi band.
