I arrived in pouring rain. I was seated right away. Ordered the calamari appetizers and a glass of wine and water. The calamari arrived piping hot, beautiful large pieces. With a delicious sauce. The Red fish arrived piping hot and was cooked to perfection. The Italian cream cake and coffee perfect and fresh.

Honest review of this restaurant. This was my first time here and I was highly disappointed. I ordered a lunch lagzana and a house salad. The salad was only lettuce and 1 slice of tomatoe. With look like some hot banana peppers sprinkled on top. That’s it. The so called lagzana was no lagzana at all. It look like they put some meat into some big pasta and rolled it together. I will never go back.

Good place to get Italian food. We got the fettuccine chicken Alfredo and it came with bread. The bread was very good, very soft and buttery. The chicken was more on the dry side as I would like. The pasta itself was good.

Ladies and Gentlemen… where has Mario’s been on my food radar?!? Literally EVERYTHING we ordered was amazing. The bread was hot, soft and buttery. I had the Ribeye Marsala and my wife had the Lobster Ravioli and both were FULL OF FLAVOR. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were very fair. We will definitely be going back to Mario’s when we’re in Hattiesburg and the craving for great Italian food hits us!

Oh my! I love pasta! I have traveled to Italy before where pasta originated but this place received an A+ in my grade book! The Chicken Madomia consists of spinach, fresh tomatoes, and broccoli with white wine and alfredo sauce served over angel hair spaghetti is Soooo Good! My waitress made sure that the chicken was grilled (not sautéed) to perfection and placed on top of my pasta! My husband ordered the lasagna which passed his expectations with a good grade! We also ordered the fried cheese sticks that were fried to perfection and not too cheesy! The atmosphere was good on a good evening and we enjoyed the quiet time enjoying great food! It is a place I will return to and it was worth mentioning to my mom who loves pasta also!

Absolutely worth it! Great service, with friendly staff who were timely with getting us our food. The portions were large, so be prepared to take some home with you. Never skip on dessert here, it is always the best part of the meal. Wonderful place to get great food and support local small businesses.
