It’s good to see a stylish and upscale restaurant in a small town, and Mariner’s offers a nice dining experience. The view of the lake and sunset creates a wonderful ambiance and the food is delicious. If you are looking for an upscale option in the Natchitoches area this would be a great option.

The restaurant was upscale and food was impeccable! We had the panko encrusted sea bass on a bed of spinach … cooked perfectly! The side of jalapeño cheese grits were on point. The restaurant only had three tables as it was close to closing time and the service was disappointing with long delays between visits and quite a wait before ordering. However, the meal was worth the wait!!

Restaurant was beautiful and so nice. The wait staff was amazing and our server, Slade, was prompt, knowledgable and a great waiter. Food was terrific! Definitely great dining experience. The bar area in main dining room is small, but really nice. The remodel really brought this restaurant up to a five star experience. Sunset on the lake just took it over the top!

My husband took me here for my birthday and the experience was AWESOME! The newly renovated restaurant’s atmosphere is elegant yet cozy, our waiter was VERY attentive, and the food is DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be returning!

Really enjoyed our night! The bartender was great and the food was delicious. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back. We ate at the bar but will sit outside next time to enjoy the gorgeous view of the lake.

This is a beautiful location. We grabbed some (soft) drinks from the bar and sat outside to enjoy the evening whilst we waited for the rest of our party. Once we got inside and were seated, our outside drinks were removed and we had to order (and pay for) new ones. It’s a bit petty, but it was a jarring note.

Positives first. Beautiful since it’s been remodeled. Of the course the lake setting is very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful and attentive.

Great location! Ordered a medium rare filet and it came out medium, which can happen when a restaurant isn’t as well versed on how to cook steak. Seasoning on the steak was fantastic and staff was attentive. Lobster ravioli was great. Great gin martini! I do wish the bread served with olive oil was more of a dipping bread, rather than a yeast roll (which doesn’t really go with olive oil, LOL).

Decent service and beautiful restaurant with the best views around. The food missed the mark, however, which is unfortunate considering the prices. Everything I tried was extremely too salty. Fish were too salty, the French fries were, the dip that came with the fish tasted like salty Velveeta. The due north drink I had was very good!
