A Muskegon staple since 1946, located in the heart of Muskegon’s Lakeside neighborhood, across the street from Great Lakes Marina. Marine Tap Room finished in 3rd place for Muskegon County’s Best Neighborhood Bar. Originally known as a paper mill bar which would serve the 1,000-plus employees working at the nearby paper mill.

I went here with my boyfriend a couple of nights ago, and it hit 12 a.m. when we walked in the door. I had no idea when they closed but the lady was super nice and gave us one drink each even though they had already closed! She was super friendly and apologized for the loud people, but I didn’t mind I just felt bad for her! Lol Anyways I hope that someone shows her this! Wish I could’ve gotten her name! She was such a sweetheart and made us feel very welcome! Will definitely be the only bar I go to from here on out!

They have a serious fruit fly problem here. Don’t sit at the entrance side of the bar next to the soda gun you’ll be swatting them away all night. Food orders were very slow.

Always loved the staff and food -but there seems to have been a staff turn over . Thur at 530 the staff was rude never smiled, didn’t return for drink refills slammed our food Down and had a “I could care less” attitude. Sure hope this isn’t the norm.

The staff is GREAT! The drinks are really good, and the pizza is good! It’s nice to sit on the large patio and watch all the people and boats along shoreline. We have meet so many nice people walking by or at the tap room. It is worth a stop by, you will have a nice time.

What a great place to eat food in lakeside! We had a burrito for like 8.50! And a 10 inch Philly sub for only 9.00! Both were absolutely on point! Great drinks to , if u drink!
