A Muskegon staple since 1946, located in the heart of Muskegon’s Lakeside neighborhood, across the street from Great Lakes Marina. Marine Tap Room finished in 3rd place for Muskegon County’s Best Neighborhood Bar. Originally known as a paper mill bar which would serve the 1,000-plus employees working at the nearby paper mill.

This was my first and last visit to o this establishment.
Worst experience, one of the bartenders was very aggressive, and pushed a customer and grabbed a drink out of another customers hand. She continued to be shove several other people, She was extremely aggressive and initiated a fight with customers who were just there to enjoy a relaxing evening.. This was so wrong, she should be fired for treating people this way, very disrespectful.. date visited was 02/13/26.

Our experience tonight was the same as many visits before to Marine Tap Room. The service is top notch the food is amazing and the drinks are super cold . Do yourself a favor and go to the Tap Room you won’t be disappointed.
