Quesadilla was very good. Good flavor on the steak. Love their handmade corn tortillas. Side of beans had really good flavor also. Husband said Mexican sausage taco was not that good, but steak, and pork tacos were each good. (He liked the flavor of the pork better).

Love this place! Make sure to try menudo soup is soooo good! And tacos are delicious too! On our way from Myrtle beach to Charlotte and this restaurant was right on the way. Home cooked meal and authentic. We were the only people eating there but sooo fun! No menu just order or check google reviews! Haha

Absolutely the best of the best in Florence South Carolina. This is an honest to goodness working man’s Mexican food. It is not girly plates covered with flowers, or salsa so mild that Ed Flanders would think it was “mucho diddly caliente amigo!”
NO.
THIS is food that you would get in Mexico, or California or in Texas. Come to think of it, the cook was my neighbor in California 25 years ago. Everything on this menu is delicious, authentic, and well done. If you have never had authentic Mexican food, go try the Carnita Tacos garnished with onion, cilantro, a sprinkle of salt and a squeeze of lime. Add Salsa (hot or Very hot) Everything else on the menu is as wonderful as the tacos.

Avoid coming here completely if you are a Karen that thinks Cilantro “tastes like soap”… Trust me on this.

Great food! Since moving to Florence, we’ve been trying to find a great spot for actual authentic Mexican food. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants here that claim to be authentic (they’re not), and NONE of them can match her. I mean, I ate 3 tacos (2 lengua, 1 asada), and me and fiancee got up and ordered more, and a caldor de res. Fantastic! We were getting up to pay, and she came in and had brought us an Al pastor taco to try, because it was a new recipe. We ended up buying 3lbs of it. It’s wonderful food, and she’s extremely nice. Definitely going to be a normal spot for us from now on.

This is a different named place now. And it is delicious. Rethink what you think you know about tacos. Very talented serious chef, and i got that from the food.

Great little Mexican place. The cook the food in the back/side of the store so it has that home cooked feel and the food was great. Reasonably priced and the staff was very friendly.

My secret spot for the best, most authentic Mexican food in the entire area. Menudo, lengua, pastor — they do it all by hand. The ONLY place in town to get some real, homemade Mexican classics.
