My friend and I ordered a baked potato with three meats(steak,shrimp & chicken)for lunch. We enjoyed so we came back the next week and ordered the same potato. Because I didn’t have enough chicken in my potato last time I ordered the same thing but asked if I could have some extra chicken. My potato went from 15 bucks to about 25. I brought it back because I didn’t have a whole potato like we had the last time. So the restaurant agreed for me to return it and photos show what I got and 15 bucks. I was good with the first topping but didn’t have a whole potato like my friend had and we had last week and that potato was definitely not worth the money.(can’t just say they had a bad day)

I think they deserve better than a 3.9! The food was excellent, although I ordered a chicken quesadilla and they gave me a beef one. I think there’s a bit of a language barrier there. Mexican is my favorite food and it was definitely good. My husband said his was great too ❤️ I ordered food to be picked up and the restaurant was packed. The employees were friendly. I just think it’s a bit pricey, but man… Everything is expensive these days. We will come back!

So this location is fairly close to my house and I come in all the time but this time it has been a bit disappointing. I see all new waiters and waitresses but that isn’t new. I sit at the bar and order the same thing I always do for lunch: strawberry margarita frozen and the fiesta fajita lunch. I usually request just the chicken and shrimp and no steak but the waitress is having difficulty understanding so I just leave it. They bring out me just steak and chicken. When I ask about the shrimp, oh no it doesn’t come with that! Just the dinner portion. I’ve ordered that same thing so many times before and it always came with shrimp. Literally why I get it. Then the margarita is nasty. Super thick because it has no alcohol in it. They “fixed” it but still not even a decent margarita. Waitress never asked me about my food or if I needed anything. I guess must be new management but what was once a favorite of mine for a drink and quick bite, now I don’t care to go back to anymore. Judging from other experiences, they’re trying to squeeze every penny out of their customers by serving smaller portions of premium meats and watered down drinks.

They charged my card 2 times for some food that I didn’t even purchase I went up there to ask them about the transaction they think all black people look alike they want even give my money back an he is talking about they got me on camera but want show me the footage too prove that I paid for someone else’s food and drinks this is not the first time this happened but this will be the last time if you pay with your card please check your transaction before you leave because they will over charge you every time this is ridiculous can’t even enjoy things in your area for them overcharging you and thinking every black person looks alike my ticket was only 32 dollars but they added someone else ticket on there

The loaded potato had more bell peppers and onions than meat. Only got about 3 shrimp, and a couple of strips of chicken and steak. I paid for extra jalapeños only to get about 3 slices. Then they charged a 15% tip for 2 people which is ridiculous! Let folks know when they walk in your establishment that you charge that even if it’s not a large party! I had a coupon that I got off my Kroger receipt and he wanted my whole Kroger receipt because it had multiple of coupons on there like really dude! What if I needed to take some back to Kroger! Yall petty for that but the music was jumping and all that but the 15%tip of a party of less than 6 is insane! I didn’t appreciate that! The drinks were great!

We had to ask for napkins and silverware… that’s nothing crazy, but if youre charging gratuity to EVERY check automatically, I wanna see some automatic service. I don’t wanna have to manually ask for utensils and napkins even after we’ve started digging into the salsa and appetizers.
We ordered queso, wings, the $11.99 Make-Your-Own-Meal deal, and the molcajete. We chose the Patron daiquiri drinks too.
First, the drink are bomb!! Very good with the perfect amount of liquor, and it seemed to be made from real strawberries. I was impressed forreal. I was buzzed before even pouring the little shot of patron in. The appetizers were good. Good queso and wings. THE WINGS ARE GOOD!! Now, the menu claimed the wings came with special sauce…the sauce was plain hot sauce. Lol. Like, be forreal. The presentation of the wings was hilariously unnecessary: huge platter for like 6-8 wings. Call it a day with a regular saucer plate or something. The free salsa was good too. Tasted homemade.
Now, let’s get into the entrees: FIRE! The molcajete was so good. I love that they actually sit the food in a hot molcajete, no foil under the food. It felt and tasted authentic. I added extra shrimp in mine. I think they add too many cactus petala though… still fire! The Make-Your-Own-Meal deal was surprisingly filling for the price. And lord the rice they serve…A+++! Delicious!
The only thing on the menu I did not like were the beans given with the molcajete. I don’t know if they were refried, but they looked like dark butter beans in some type of broth. Honestly, I skipped them.
I think I’ve found a go-to bar. This spot is local, clean, affordable, and had a good vibe. The songs they had going were so nostalgic. I probably sang the whole time I was there. I just hope their pick up service is the same because I’d like to order pick up when I can stay and chill.

I dined in. The staff were very few but nice and accommodating. My food was hot and fresh and the drinks were delicious. They do have happy hour. If you haven’t tried this restaurant yet then I recommend that you do.
