They were really busy but our server was great. The food was really good…we went there to eat before the basketball game…seriously considering going back to eat at another time. Parking was really the only issue since its on the college campus, most of the parking required certian stickers etc but we drove around the block and a spot had become available right in front.

We met up with our friends here for dinner. The food is really good and they have the thin crispy chips that are delicious! The salsa is has good flavor and thickness. You can definitely tell this is a college location from the atmosphere compared to other locations. It’s like a sports bar with an open concept and very loud because there is nothing to absorb sound due to the concrete and hard tables and chairs. As long as you don’t mind that feel, you will enjoy the food. There is outdoor seating in front with picnic tables.

The lunch menu is very affordable and the chips and salsa flow freely. The soups are hearty and taste homemade. I also like the tamales and enchiladas. The layout of the seating is uninspired, but I have never had to wait to be seated. The service is excellent and the owner is frequently around. This is an excellent lunch option near the Mercer campus!

Been going here around this time of the year (Mercer graduation) for the last 5 years.
The menu is excellent and sometimes has minor changes through the years. Their vegetarian house special is delicious. The dish has been consistently cooked well each time I’ve had it. I do miss the temporary sweet potato taco and avocado taco a couple of years ago.
Great and consistent service during one of their busy times. Vida was my server today and she was great at checking in at just the right time for a drink refill or extra salsa.
Overall, it’s a solid place to eat for lunch / dinner and the atmosphere is great.

I recently visited Margaritas Mexican Grill and tried their house special with beef and salad – it was absolutely delicious! I asked for the cheese on the side, and it turned out to be the perfect choice as I was able to dip everything in the cheese to my heart’s content. The service was top-notch too, with the staff being very attentive to our needs and quickly fulfilling our orders. They also provide free nachos for the appetizer and they even fave us more when we finished the first plate 🙂
I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Margaritas, where I plan to try out their tacos. If they’re anything like the house special, I’m sure they’ll be amazing. Overall, I highly recommend Margaritas Mexican Grill for anyone looking for delicious food and great service in a welcoming atmosphere.

I ordered out here a few days ago. The service was fast. The $20.00 burrito smaller than a regular burrito from Moe’s. I ordered the chimichanga. They were tasty but not what I expected. The beans and rice with melted cheese is good. Their chip and salsa is almost as good as Chili’s, that is a compliment.
The restaurant was not clean there was food on the bar and the tables were empty and not clean. Coronavirus is still a thing and cleaning and disinfecting should continue in all public areas.

I met some friends here for lunch and was greeted with smiles by the staff. The restaurant was quite crowded. After eating, I understand why. The food is quite good and authentic. I even saw several large groups of Spanish descent diners, enjoying the entrées.
The dining room interior is quite small, but has very tall ceilings, giving it the acoustic feel of a cafeteria. My only complaint was the noise levels. Other than that this place is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a good Mexican cuisine.

I got two chicken enchiladas and a pork tamale. I have never seen a tamale wrapped in what seems to be seaweed, it’s usually wrapped in a corn husk. Not to mention one of my enchiladas was completely filled up with refried beans instead of chicken. I’m very disappointed and for some reason their phone line is always busy so I can’t get in contact with them to let them know what’s going on. I guess I’m going to have to turn around and drive back up there.
UPDATE: it was banana leaves, not seaweed. It smelled salty and kind of like olives so maybe that’s what threw me off. They corrected my order on the spot and were very kind about it.

The Manager got our order wrong we checked and brought it back within 5 minutes he said he could not give a refund even with receipt’s and reason’s to why it was Needed!! He proceeded to try and get us to ask for a re make on the order as he opened the bag and food touching everything and still wanted the food to leave the restaurant my sister told him he could keep the money and the food but I’m pregnant I’m so pisseddd !!!

We had a large group on a Friday evening and the service was just outstanding! All of the food was delicious (I had the tacos and they were exceptional). The prices are better than reasonable. Beer was cheaper here than any other place we visited that weekend. High recommended and will return next time we are in town.
