Very good authentic, high quality Italian sandwiches made to order with excellent side dishes. Sandwiches are large enough to share. Reasonably priced, good selection of Italian drinks, chips and cookies. Would be helpful if a chalk board listed specials of the day (bread, meat, vegetables etc) for sandwich orders. Spartan setting but clean and comfortable; some music would be nice. Nice option when Downtown.

Check out Marco’s Italian Deli. The best sandwich I have ever had. I have been on the look out since my visit to Florence in 2023. Marco’s sandwich is better than All’Antico Vinaio in Florence and you don’t have to wait in a long line. IT’S MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE.

The bread, the meats, the balance of flavors — absolutely outstanding. You know it’s special when you’re comparing it to Florence and still saying wow.
If you love authentic Italian food or a truly great sandwich, don’t sleep on this place. Feeling very lucky to have this right here in San Anselmo
