A Must-Stop for Breakfast!
We absolutely loved our visit to Huevo House! The chilaquiles were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious—definitely some of the best we’ve had. The menu offers lots of options, so there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re craving something savory or sweet, this place delivers. Friendly service, great vibes, and amazing food—Huevo House is a must-stop for breakfast. Can’t wait to come back!

People often use the term “Hidden Gem” when they visit a restaurant. But allow me to brag a little about this place. This place is a TRUE!! Hidden Gem in my books, the perfect amount of options, the quality of the food, the service was outstanding, Thank you, Heather for going through the menu for me and my family, my kids enjoyed this placed so much, they’ve already asked to return next weekend.
Well, we ended up coming back. This place is officially my go to stop for Brunch. The Chilango (Chilaquiles) omelette is delicious. My son really enjoyed Oreo French Toast and Churro French Toast.

Came here while I was getting my car worked on. I was surprised at how many yummy options they had to choose from. Our food came out quick and I really enjoyed it. The service was great, too. They were all kind and patient with me. I also enjoyed the music, which is funny. Can’t wait to come back and try everything else I wanted. Also, I would like to note that all the people around me eating are also visibly happy with their food. You might as well give them a try!

Had breakfast at Huevo House—a very hip and aesthetically pleasing spot, but the food didn’t quite live up to the vibe. I ordered the chilaquiles and was disappointed. The beans at the bottom made the dish soggy, and the salsa tasted like it came from a can. My husband had a skillet, and while he said it was good, it wasn’t anything special. Overall, a nice-looking place, but the food didn’t deliver.

I recently dined at this fantastic Mexican restaurant, and I have to say, the experience was incredible! The highlight of the meal was definitely the Biscoff pancakes. They were absolutely delicious—fluffy, perfectly cooked, and topped with a rich Biscoff spread that added a delightful sweetness. The combination of flavors was unique and satisfying. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you’re a fan of pancakes or looking for a tasty twist on traditional Mexican fare, I highly recommend trying the Biscoff pancakes at this place! 🙂

This location was by far the best! I ordered the pistachio waffle combo with scrambled eggs and bacon! It didn’t disappoint! My Dad got the berry waffle combo it was so pretty and he definitely enjoyed it! My friend had an omelette and it was delicious! My husband got chilequilesitbwas HUGE and he enjoyed it! My mom keeps it basic with eggs papas sausage and pancakes all in all it was a great experience!

This was my second time here. Food is still amazing their food is delicious and their portion size is incredible! The service was great! Their Mimosas are so good! I can go on and on how incredible this place is. I will be back for sure! Our server was Crystal and she was so nice and ensured we were promptly served and satisfied. I will recommend Huevo House for any occasion they are incredible!

Went this Past Saturday (2/15/25) after having a bad experience right before at another Restaurant. So wasn’t in the greatest mood. We get there and are immediately seated! Great start! Then our Server, Crystal, comes right over and gets us our drink order right away! It was a very busy and fast paced time. My wife ordered a flight of Mimosas. They let you pic 6 flavors and man did my wife enjoy every one! Crystal then takes our food order. The food comes maybe 15 minutes later and it was DELICIOUS! I ordered the Chilaquiles and they we amazing. It was also a nice sized portion. Crystal was very attentive as well but did not bug. Table would be cleared as soon as we emptied something and set it at the end of the table. Overall I am very please with this restaurant and will be back for more! Thank you Huevo House and Thank you Crystal!

TL;DR: Highly recommended. Customizable food options, friendly staff who check in, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re escaping Downtown Bakersfield.
Huevo House was an absolute treat. Walking in I was taken aback by the environment, it felt like I was escaping the rush of downtown. The atmosphere has the feel of an old timey restaurant but with a modern feel with the myriad pieces of art across the walls and the decor. I was seated pretty quickly despite coming in at the peak of lunch on a Friday.
I ordered the chicken chipotle melt with fries. The wait wasn’t awful and the food was delightful. The filling of the sandwich felt generous and the fries were reminiscent of Checkers (which is some of the highest praise I can give). I was even offered a complimentary coffee cake for it being their one week opening. Not too big but just enough to scratch that sweet tooth.
The menu is large and a lot of the items sounded tempting. I was also informed that you can customize many of the items on the menu with like a fried egg or hard boiled egg for example. Fitting for a place with this name.
Staff were friendly and attentive without feeling overbearing.
