You’re missing out if you don’t take advantage of “Oktoberfest on the River” to taste their authentic German cuisine. M’mmm Pictured below is Schnitzel with Hunter sauce, German potato salad for dinner and bread. Plus, apple strudel for desert.

The food & atmosphere was awesome . To be honest the only thing I knew about German food was from watching Hogan’s Heroes. I got the sampler platter! So good! My wife got one of the pork chop platters . So good also!
The waitresses & MS Beth were so friendly!
This was on my bucket list to go to a Oktoberfest here!
Please go you won’t be disappointed!

We love coming here! The whole fish and the spicy boiled shrimp are fantastic! Our little girl loves the big moose and getting a necklace every time. Nice family restaurant with a neat view of the river!

Amazing food. Great customer service and clean. You definitely get your money’s worth. And if you like fried pickles they have the best. I will be going back

This is my favorite fish camp in our area! It doesn’t take as long to get to as another fish camp we visit located south of Meridian. The food is always good. I highly recommend the cole slaw, fried pickles, and onion rings. The fish is good, but could use more seasoning; I found it to better at another fish camp we visited recently. I still enjoy visiting Chunky Shoals and will definitely be back in the future.

The BEST. Save room for your meal which can be hard when the coleslaw and hush puppies keep coming and they’re SO good.
Lots to choose from even if you don’t (or like me, can’t) eat fish or seafood. Their hamburger steak with onions and gravy is my favorite and it’s wonderful.
If you’re really hungry, get an appetizer. The fried dill pickles are some of the best I’ve ever had.

Dirt area for parking hard for wheel chair. Food is good. Salad bar not fresh on two visits. Other visits ok. Friendly staff. Very clean rest rooms. Family friendly.

Im sorry but it wasnt all that great. Neat location, building and view. I hear other people who say its good. But to me it just wasnt. The batter reminded me of fast food. The fish was slimy and nasty. The comeslaw was a big tub of mayo with some cabboge in it and served room temp. I got filets my wife got a seafood platter. The portion for the platter was small to me. I ate about 9pm. At 4am i was up puking slimy rotten fish. I seriously think the food was bad. She didnt get sick, but she didnt eat the fish I had to tho cuz thats what i ordered. It was awful looking and nasty. I have never ate there. Will never again. I use to like Circle S until they closed. Family fish camp is pretty good.. but i will never go back to this place.
