Tonight was out first time dining at Marcolino’s. The owner was delightful along with the rest of the staff. They were attentive without being pushy or even very noticed. Filling water glasses and clearing dishes without interrupting our conversation. We actually had to ask the to leave plates to show off how we ate everything in reach. The food was great. Memories of Italy played on the walls and danced on my tongue. Can’t wait to return. We had the fried Raviolis, pesto tortellini, and Chicken Marcella.

I love to see a favorite food truck from Reno’s food truck Friday turn into a brick and morter restaurant and to remain downtown. There isn’t enough restaurants that aren’t attached to a casino that are truly worth eating at again and again. This place is going to be one of my go to for some take out and dinner with friends.

All I can say is WOW! What a hidden gem in downtown Reno. My wife and I were next door listening to some music and had some friends stop by after eating here at Marcolino’s. They couldn’t say enough about how great the food was so my wife came over to eat and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was great. The atmosphere was relaxing and the portions were big. We will be back.

If you are looking for some of the best authentic Italian food made with fresh ingredients and a labor of love, this is the place for you. They had the best chicken parmesan I’ve ever tasted. That sauce though- wow! The sauce may have been the best part. But the garlic bread was perfect. And the cannoli? Simply divine. On top of that, the staff was very friendly and personable. It is no wonder they went from food truck to fine dining in one year. I can’t wait to see Marcolino’s in five more years.

If you’re looking for phenomenal Italian food… it’s here. Ventured out with Mom in search of Italian food. We stumbled upon Marcolino’s Italia on 1st street in Reno. What a food and wine blessing! Chef Donato has outdone himself with everything, but especially the Mushroom Ravioli! Loved the wine list and ambiance, and everyone was so friendly… They even put Frank Sinatra on for my Mom. We felt like a member of the family. Molto bene!

Excellent Italian place… service was awesome without being overbearing, and the food was on point with a nice little menu that I can try every item each visit. Italian Sausage was delicious as were the meatballs. Desserts were super tasty. This is now my favorite Italian Restaurant in Reno and Sparks. Parking is tricky but worth it if have to spend a little extra time finding.
