Our server was real nice ans patient as we asked questions. The Breakfast was amazing More than what we expected. The portions size filled us up and we still left with another meal for home! We’re not from around here but this little restaurant is worth the stop.

We were out running around and decided to stop for breakfast. First of all the server Tony was excellent. Warm greeting, great personality very friendly. The food was fantastic. Huge portions. I had a Greek skillet and could not finish it. My wife had Very, Very Berry crepes and she couldn’t finish hers either. Highly recommend, we will be going back again.

The food arrived fast and was pretty good. Their fruit crepes looked amazing, and the breakfast skillet showed up sizzling and was delicious!

Amazing place! The food was phenomenal and i was sad i couldn’t take my leftovers since I’ll be on the road for a while. We were so excited to have gluten free pancakes!! The service was amazing. Our server (colette i think) was so kind, efficient and just so on top of everything in general while serving many other tables. If you want a delicious, classic midwestern diner experience, this is the place!

We are always happy with our food here. The servers are usually friendly and happy to serve. The only thing that could have been different is we should have been greeted by someone quicker when we walked in. Even when she did see us, there wasn’t a smile, just her question, 2 people? She had been whispering with another employee, so it felt like we were interrupting her day when she saw us.

I got the Paul bunyon and so did my travel mate. She got toast with hers and I got the pancakes. Came to 21.00.

Great atmosphere the girls are great. I sat at the front bar area. They have a wonderful attitude and work well together.

The omlette was HUGE and well worth the price. I couldn’t even eat it all it was a lot of food. And tasted wonderful. Pancakes were slightly dry so make sure you order a sauce etc or use that syrup.

I highly recommend this for breakfast If you want a hardy breakfast.

Imagine diving into a plate so indulgent, it feels like the ultimate breakfast challenge. The Lumberjack Skillet, a.k.a. Meat Lover’s Skillet, is not just a meal; it’s an experience. The first bite greets you with a perfect balance of mildly spicy sausage and savory ham, harmonized into a flavor so addictive, you just keep reaching for more… and more. Trust me, one bite won’t be enough.

The aroma hits you first: the mouthwatering smell of cooked ham, sausage, and subtle spices wafting from the steaming plate. It’s the kind of smell that stops all conversation at the table. The eggs? Fluffy perfection, just as I ordered. The potatoes? Soft and subtly crispy, a crisp so delicate you might miss it (though personally, I’d love a little more crunch).

Presentation-wise, this dish arrives as a heaping mountain of breakfast greatness. Think fresh, steaming eggs perched atop a bed of subtly spicy meats, finished with a fresh slice of creamy avocado (as requested). It’s a masterpiece of simplicity and satisfaction.

As for the vibe? Monday morning between 10 and 11 is the sweet spot. The place was quiet, clean, and calm, with plenty of open seating. The fresh, comforting aroma of the kitchen hung in the air, a smell that felt like home, like care and appreciation went into every dish.

The service? Prompt, but I’d have loved a few more check-ins to make sure everything was perfect. That said, huge ups to the cooks! They’re the real MVPs of this spot. If you’re a fan of skillets, omelets, or hearty breakfasts that don’t hold back, this place is a must-visit. Oh, and don’t skip the biscuits and gravy, they’re on point too.

My husband and I went to Maple Tree to meet friends for breakfast this morning. The others did not show (due to weather) so we decided to have breakfast any way. We sat at a table in the front near the hostess and check out. We waited for 20 minutes. No one brought menus or silverware to our table. Several waitresses walked past our table. The final straw was when 4 ladies sat at the table behind us and immediately were brought menus, silverware and water. We sat for a few minutes longer, then got up to leave. We eat here once a month and after this snub I will never go back and will not recommend this restaurant to friends. Terriblr experience. BTW, the restaurant was not busy.
