I enjoyed my solo lunch here. They are listed on Open Table but it appears their reservations are turned off. I end up calling to reserve via phone. Inside is nicely decorated with more of a fine dining atmosphere. I was seated in a lovely circular booth. The bar area is also nice with a few dining tables. My server, Max, was great! I started with the Brie and Crab soup and complementary bread. Both were good. I ordered a lavender mocktail. It was a little tart so I asked for some simple syrup to add. For my meal, I went with the Cedar Plank Redfish. It came on top of steamed broccoli. The fish was seasoned perfectly! Absolutely delicious! I would order this again! I ended with the bread pudding. Max went above and beyond to check to see if they had a corner piece before I ordered. I was in luck! The bread pudding had a nice flavor but it was a little too mushy. Overall, nice restaurant. I will definitely return to try more items.

We drove from laffy to try this place out. Entering the restaurant we were greeted by hostess with a smile and welcoming gestures. Fine dining, seating was comfortable, background piano playing was laid-back. The food was amazing esp the oysters topped w crab meat let that bread do the soaking of the sauce my peacock martini was delicious one of my best restaurant now ❤️

Great experience and great food!

Stopped by because it was close to my hotel. No reservation but they sat us right away. The server was awesome, very helpful and gave some great recommendations.

I got a prime ribeye special with a peppercorn glaze that was fantastic. My co worker got the duck and there wasn’t anything left on either of our plates.

One of my favorite restaurants. We stopped here in Baton Rouge just to go here again. Best food = Great atmosphere = Friendly and caring staff = Recommendations: gumbo, Napa salad, planked red fish, and the shrimp and grits. Oh yes. Although all the staff was great, Pluto – our waitress – was out of this world!! Wonderful.

The food is as good as the hype. The cocktails are also great. Surprisingly, for a high end restaurant, the prices are actually really reasonable too. The restaurant is very clean and cozy. Our waiter, Pluto, albeit not a pro waiter by any means, but she was very nice and helpful. Very pleasant waiter and very pleased with our experience.

The food truly lives up to the reputation. The cocktails are excellent as well, and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices are for a high end spot. The dining area is clean, cozy, and welcoming.

High-end dining, had a business dinner here with my colleague. Service was excellent and nice atmosphere, food quality was mixed. The grilled oysters were excellent but the shrimp in the seafood salad did not taste fresh and the gumbo was a bit too salty.

Mansurs was alright!

Many people in town recommending this as a high end Louisiana food spot. It’s not necessarily a steak house, but they do have that as an option. It is more so a seafood spot.

I tried a lot of food – but overall, the food was very greasy. The whole point of the place is to saturate things in butter and oil. Almost makes your stomach hurt while you’re eating it.

The grilled oysters are tasty but each oyster is sitting in a pool of butter – tasty but briefly before your body shuts down.

I chose to do the soup flight – this was the best part of the meal! I got the gumbo, collard greens gumbo (daily soup), and the creamy seafood. These were all delicious, the flavor was great. I really liked the collard green gumbo, light and flavorful – yet loaded with protein!

I had the fish special for dinner and in full honesty, I could not eat this. It was so insanely greasy that it was hard to stomach. The risotto was also sitting in a pool of grease and butter. Not good.

I know some people enjoy very sweet drinks or a buttery and flavorful meal – but this was 5x in the wrong direction. Never had food this greasy except at a bbq spot.

I hope that the team takes the feedback and possibly has more dishes that aren’t as greasy.

Over all – fine food, but know what you’re getting into. Staff is very kind. The atmosphere was weird cause it was a high end spot but there were TV’s to watch places all over the restaurant. It’s not that type of vibe.
