Crissy Cajs
If you like the older style restaurant feeling, then this is the place for you!
At this restaurant you seat yourself and your server brings your menu, drinks and food. Our waitress was Emily K, and she was busy but made sure our drinks were full and that everything was good!
They have pictures lining their walls, keno, a small TV, and they even sell candy and lottery!
My family of five came in today (3/1/2025) at around 12 because there was such a long wait at IHOP. This place was better than IHop! I’m glad we decided to try it.
For appetizers we tried the mozzarella sticks, loaded fries, and fried mushrooms with ranch sauce. They were really good, my husband and I loved the mushrooms and the kids demolished the mozzarella sticks and fries.
For our meals
My husband got a bowl of chili and the no 22 breakfast and that chili was so good! He let us all try it and it was the best restaurant chili we’ve had, and their hash was so delicious.
I got the chicken and waffles (the chicken is chicken tenders). The waffle was so big (I got a full waffle) and fluffy. It was one of the best waffles I’ve had in a long time. I didn’t really care for the breading on the chicken, but with syrup it wasn’t bad.
One daughter got biscuits and gravy (so delicious!) and clam strips with California blend side. The clam strips were cooked perfectly and was delicious.
One daughter got the chicken tenders dinner and she loved it!
My other daughter got a plain cheeseburger, with fruit jello and Mac and cheese.
No one cared for the Mac and cheese, but the fruit jello was delicious and my daughter loves her burger and chips!
Overall this place has really good food, a great atmosphere, great prices and amazing staff! Everyone was friendly and smiling.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience. We were there for a late lunch and the menu was full of great choices. Really felt like a place that the locals come too often really felt that home. The atmosphere was great if I’m ever in town again I’ll be sure to go back.

No frills diner, just great food. Decorated for the holidays. Stopped twice on my most recent visit. Veal sandwich one day and hamburger the next. Reasonable prices, good service and love coming here when I am in town visiting family. Roasted chicken and perch are also excellent.

The atmosphere was filthy, dirty floors, bathrooms, tables, and even the silverware and drink cups we were expected to put our mouths on. The service left plenty to be desired, 10 minutes before being greeted, ten more minutes before we received our drinks, server said she’d be right back to take out our order, returned about 12 minutes later then we waited 45 more minutes before receiving our food; food that I found a literal cockroach cooked inside. Will never return and highly recommend to bit enter the premises if you’d like to avoid infectious diseases.

WOW is all I’m going to say. Food was amazing customer service unmatched and the price point get outta here. This is the best kept secret if your not from the area. We were greeted by Leland who really gave us positive vibes and set the tone for our visit with the “VIP” table and the best waitress as he proclaimed. Amber went the extra mile as well even to whip me up some sauce for my sweet potato fries. The food was five star worthy in my opinion. Walleye was fried immaculately. You must go there.

Great “brunch” I had egg n corned beef hash n mush. Coffee and blueberry cream pie. Very happy! Wife, son and daughter in law were very happy as well. First time in 15/20 years. Not waiting so long again.

A home town restaurant that has always been a joy to go to. They make you feel at home when you are there. Their staff is amazing at all locations. They work very hard to make your meal great in every way. I am mostly a fan of their breakfast and really enjoy the counter seating up front. I have completely lost all faith in Bob Evans. Mansfield Restaurant is local and delicious and you put money into local workers pockets. Great place
