1st time at this Vitale’s. The burrito was pretty good. It was barely warm so could have been hotter.. but good flavor with lots of cheese.. I would recommend it. I wish there was some spice options. There are some more menu items I want to try. I did want a draft but they apparently ran out.

The service was amazing and was paired with great food.

The pizza was really well made with no crazy amount of grease on it. The BBQ chicken pizza is a must try. The buffalo wing-in bones are probably one of the best wings I’ve had in the area. We added extra garlic butter to our cheesy bread sticks and they were amazing with the sweet marinara sauce that came with it. The rigatoni was made perfect and plenty of sauce to cover it.

The restaurant is usually busy but its worth the wait.

We have been here 3 times and really wanted to make it work since it’s so close to our house, but ultimately the food is pretty average. Good drink options and great ambiance.

1st time – ordered the fish and would score it a 7/10. Best meal of the 3.

2nd time – chicken parm… underwhelming coming from an Italian family restaurant 6/10.

3rd time – pizza and breadsticks. The pizza was mediocre but the breadsticks were horrible. Seemed almost stale and overcooked at the same time then seasonings were dumped on to try to mask it but brutal experience overall. We had read reviews raving about the pizza and breadsticks but were let down.

First time diner, and let’s just say im really pleasantly surprised. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out the service was spectacular. I don’t remember our servers name but he was phenomenal. He was pleasant not fake on top of tasks.
The food was awesome. The portions were large and delicious. Also it was made and to our table quickly and the price of the dishes was fair. Good job all the way around. Can’t wait to come back and try the pizza because it smelled amazing.

Stopped in Vitale’s cause they’re on the way to friends and picked up a pizza. It was a cheese pizza, thick with cheese and slightly browned on top. It was delicious, everyone loved it. What I’ll remember more is the guy who took my order and made the pizza, believe his name is Marco. He’s working on his english, but his attitude was awesome, just a great guy. If you go, meet Marco and his wife, they’re great.

I was driving through the area and stopped here for lunch on a whim. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta and it was delicious— it had the perfect amount of heat! Aliyah was my server and she was wonderful!! She was attentive, friendly, and helpful with questions about the menu.

Good burger. Gluten-free pizza is AWESOME. Everyone loves their pizza.

It is odd that no one has reviewed their burger at this location yet, but here goes.

– Classic Burger – $13: Half pound patty, ordered medium and was served medium to medium well. It was medium quality meat. I liked the shredded lettuce. It was a tad on the sloppy side with the mayo and ketchup I ordered, but was tasty. The bun was a tad tough on the exterior, but plenty soft otherwise. Served in a wire basket on wax/paraffin paper, which is unique.

Overall, I have no complaints at all. The price was actually spot on compared to what is out there, the quality you get, and the size of the patty. Actually, if you factor in the fries, it is great value.

– Fries – (comes with the burger): Excellent battered fries. A tad thicker, served hot, and goes down easy. Cooked just right, soft inside, crispy outside, and delicious.

– 10” Gluten Free Cauliflower Crust Pizza – $17+toppings: Expensive, but the best I know. I couldn’t even tell it was gluten-free or cauliflower! It is my daughter’s favorite, so I decided to check it out with her. It is a thinner crust, but still soft. It is greasy. Everything about it is true to the Vitale’s mode of operation. Tons of toppings, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious!

With Pepperoni and bacon, it cost $19. For a 10” that fits on a dinner plate rather than a pizza pan, it is not much. My daughter will take leftovers home and have two meals to eat, though.

Vitale’s knows pizza. That’s for sure!!

– Service: Happy, pleasant, helpful, and punctual. We were taken care of very well. Nothing was left undone for more than a minute.

– Atmosphere: Casual and a bit of an American bar and grill feel. Sports is a huge emphasis, but they have a wing with a bit more classy feel to it that they open during higher volume times. It was generally clean and well kept. Our table was quote wobbly, though (very back corner on the northwest).

– Conclusion: I’d recommend their burger and HIGHLY recommend their pizza.

If you are gluten-free and want a special treat, this is THE place in Grand Rapids for sure!

Vitales is our local watering hole. We are here about once a week just to have a drink and say hey to the staff. Very consistent, long time bartenders that recognize us, and they always go above and beyond. It is a very family oriented place. It has that cozy small town feel even though we’re in Grand Rapids. Lots of parking!

We held my daughters graduation here and it did not disappoint!! The food was excellent. Appetizer’s hit the spot! My kids were going crazy over the cheese sticks and spuds. I had the grilled salmon and it was dine to perfection. It was drizzled with a cream sauce that was mildly sweet and brought out the flavor just right. Sitting on a bed of asparagus, it was the perfect combination. I tried one of my son’s wings and that was super yummy as well. A shout out to Alexis who was our server! She did a fantastic job…always attentive and never stopped smiling! I would definitely recommend Vitale’s for any occasion!
