A must if you are traveling to or through Safford Az. The service was fantastic, food was excellent and the prices were great! I ordered the prime rib small cut, which was cooked to perfection and tender. All I can say is I’m thankful i saw this place from where i was staying.

Hurray….Safford has great steakhouse again. The Rockin’ Horse Saloon and Steakhouse is a nice break from my favorite Mexican food restaurants around the Safford area. When Bricks closed I was at a loss for a nice steak. The variety here is impressive and the meals are large enough to satisfy a Texas rancher.The very nice wait staff was also a pleasant surprise.

I was looking forward to the salsa, it tasted like can rotel with cilantro and cumin nothing special. The price for meals is way too high, I ordered the Poblano chicken enchilada it was okay, the rice had no taste and the beans were burnt. The atmosphere is cool but if you come for the food and sala it’s not that great.

Our experience at this restaurant was terrible. They sat myself, my husband, and our 5 children in the bar, because they weren’t busy enough to have the general rooms open. Which should have been our first clue to leave. There was a total of a dozen people in the bar, 2 waitresses, and it took an hour and a half to get our food! With 5 hungry kids, it was difficult. The waitress was unprofessional and slow. The food was not good, especially for the price. My husband ended up canceling his order of prime rib.
Then, to finish out the night, their sewage was backing up into the parking lot.
We will not be coming here again.

Not impressed. Waitress was nice but messed our whole order up, even on the second try. I could understand if the place was just but it wasn’t at all. There were only 4 tables filled. On top of the meals being wrong, the quality of the food was below Taco Bell’s . We love Mexican food so we were really disappointed.

The food is good, don’t let the other commenters turn you off. The service is definitely lacking though. Be prepared to spend a while waiting for your food. It will come out hot and it will be good though!

Can’t even give this place a star. Went there worst food and service I have ever had. Had to make my own cocktail sauce “thank god I cooked for over 12 years and can make my own” because the one they gave us was spoiled. Potatoes were cook in the microwave and hard as a rock. Cook came out and yelled at us because they had to make new cocktail for us but that took over 30 min to bring out so that’s why I made our own. Never going back there every again

Really bad experience. I’m in town for work and thought I’d try the place out. Looks nice and fancy. But the food is NOT that way. I got the ribeye steak 19.99 and same as my partner. We asked for medium rare. For the amount of time it took it should of came out black. But it came out like it was cooked for 3 seconds on each side… for the both of us… good thing I don’t come to this town that often. Never again if I do…

Very dissatisfied! Our party waited in the lobby for 20 minutes so the “waitress wouldn’t be overwhelmed” what we were told. Then we waited 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken etc needless to say we were there 2 hours and 10 minutes we ordered the prime rib med rare and it was well done. They need new kitchen staff!!
