Inspired by the taste of modern Europe and the ambiance of the late 19th-century Victorian era, Chef Margot Blondet set out to create a sexy, sophisticated dining and cocktail experience. Nestled in Centerville’s historic Uptown neighborhood, Manna offers its guests a journey through time and culture. The property maintains its original, historic architecture while housing Manna’s sleek, sensual cocktail bar and modern Victorian-era dining room both peppered with carvings, sculptures, chandeliers, and marble from Blondet’s travels across the globe! Manna’s menu blends together rich European culinary traditions with that South American je ne sais quoi that is Blondet’s legacy. Bold, provocative cocktails and a chic wine program suggest th…

I love coming here for a nice date night without the kids. The food is phenomenal and clearly made with care. We each always get our own bread basket because it is THAT good. Pictured is the charred casear salad, house made French bread basket, braised short rib ravioli, and lamb wellington. Everything is freshly prepared in-house by chefs who clearly love food! The menu changes with the seasons. Our servers are always very knowledgeable and professional. And the atmosphere is one-of-a-kind; akin to dining in a fine dining restaurant in Europe. We are so lucky to have Manna in Centerville!

I have to write this even though I hate writing bad reviews. We went there for my mom’s birthday because she likes quiet restaurants with no screens or loud music and this is it plus she has been there for lunch before and liked the salad. First about the food, it was awful. The meat was dry, the fries were burnt, the beef had no flavor. The mashed potatoes…something you think is hard to ruin were terrible. The pastry with lamb liver was so bitter and sour that it was impossible to eat. We still ate mostly everything to be polite and because it was expensive but never again. Also, they don’t provide complimentary bread but charge you 6.50 for it…The only thing that tasted good was the cheesecake. It was very flavorful and one could tell – homemade. Also, the seating was rather uncomfortable and the plate kept sliding around as you are trying to cut the pork chop with a butter knife… because there was no table cloth or place mats, just the marble table top. And as the previous reviewer noticed they don’t give you a steak knife to cut the meat! The chandelier above us was covered in spiderwebs and the booth couch had stains. I am not sure who writes the good reviews sbout this place but honestly the food was awful as if it was hastily prepared by someone who never cooked before. Our waitress was somewhat friendly but also as if looking down on everyone. I didn’t voice my concerns about food to her because I knew it would have been pointless…

My husband and I went to Manna with his dad and family. We started with drinks at the bar and the bartender was very accommodating and friendly. I had the sangria and it was absolutely delicious. For food we ordered the fried calamari, short rib ravioli, and charred Caesar salad. Everything was so good and beautifully plated. The ambiance inside is beautiful and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I will most definitely be coming back here again in the future.

I can’t say enough good things about Manna Uptown and my multiple experiences with the restaurant. Most recently I made a reservation for 15 of friends to have my birthday brunch there and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is stunning, the food is delicious and the service is fantastic (Deb was our server and she was wonderful and very attentive and kind)! Maxwell assisted me over the phone with making the reservation and made it effortless and was very helpful. I am very grateful for the team at Manna making my birthday special and I look forward to supporting the restaurant for years to come!

Beautiful decor and delicious food. I had the beet and pesto sandwich with squash soup, and both were excellent. Our server, Matt, was polite and very knowledgeable about the food and drink menu. I am looking forward to coming back to try their dinner menu!

We attended Manna for my husband’s birthday dinner, just the two of us. They seated us in the back near the bar where we enjoyed 2 different steak meals that were unique and delicious. Our server John, who was crazy busy running both the bar and serving, was kind, very knowledgeable about the cuisine, and did a fantastic job at catering to our needs while we dined.
Thank you Manna, for a great first experience. We will certainly spread the word and visit again.

A friend and I went for the May Tea Event and had a great time! Food was great, the atmosphere was fun, and the tea options were endless. I found the ticket price extremely reasonable. Sidenote: I’ve never sat upstairs before but the young man who showed me to the event area said that it was the main dining room.
In my opinion, the only flaw was what appeared to be an unbalanced ratio of customers vs. serving staff. The person that served us was wonderful, but I think she could have used more consistent help since she seemed to be taking care of the entire room solo.

The food was awesome, big props to the chef. I had the duck Madeline meal. It was delicious, Thia Whitaker had the lamb wellington. It was a really nice environment and the decor was awesome. I highly recommend. Expect to pay at least 100 bucks for two. It is totally worth it. The waitress was on it. Great service. Will return.

Had my birthday dinner here and I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere, food, and service were top notch. Even when ordering something that took longer to cook, the manager was making sure we were well taken care of. He’s a wonderful host! I highly recommend the Lamb Wellington.
