Simply the best. Amazing quality food. I love coming here. The staff are all friendly and very attentive and the food is out of this world. The best Mexican I’ve ever had. Menu is simple and yet still incredibly satisfying, every dish is perfected. Lives up to the reviews, I find Mexican food to be hit or miss in the UK so I’m really happy with how amazing this place is. Love how you can veganise every dish and they also have rotating specials. Food and service are 10/10 and the ambience is really cute. The best refried beans I’ve ever had, and the tacos are actually filling too!
It’s also fun that you can buy the sauces, taco fillings and more so you can build your own tacos at home.

I had high hopes of this place as it was recommended by a native Mexican friend who described it as being, “as good as my grandmother’s cooking back home in Mexico”. I was not disappointed. Really wonderful flavours combined with clearly top quality ingredients. Welcoming patron and a great selection of other Mexican food and drink. You should definitely pay it a visit.

Since moving to the UK from America I’ve found the quality of Mexican food here quite disappointing. Not Casazul. The tacos are amazing and I love how you can buy authentic ingredients inside, like proper corn tortillas which can be hard to come by in shops. The sauces and chilli oils are to die for, and Gabriel is lovely and will let you taste them before you buy. Definitely a spot I recommend for people visiting Brighton.
