I love gizzards. Well at this business you get a lot I was surprised at the large amount and they were large not the small size, I also ordered tilapia fried sandwiche which was really good also next time will just order the fish to get more pieces, fish was just delicious, coleslaw was really good also. I recommend this business and will visit here again.

I placed a call in order and my total was $23. And some change. I ordered 2 15pc shrimp meal placed at $7.99 a meal plus 4 corn on the cob witch is $3.29 I also ordered a order of cauliflower priced at $3.29. When I went into the restaurant to pay for my telephone order. They never wrote nothing I ordered down there fore I never received my cauliflower. I went back to either get my food that I paid for or get my money back. The dude I. The pics took my phone order and treated me like I was stupid. Like I don’t know how much money I had. Please don’t go their to the one on Livernois and McNichols. They don’t line black ppl and they aim is to get us for our money. I’m taking further actions but I felt like the media needed to know about this place.

My shrimp way over cooked hard as a rock… Too much batter… Nothing like the one on Woodward in Highland Park.

The guy that waited on me was either having a mental episode or he has a closed head injury. He couldn’t keep simple things straight and was more than very forgetful. I will not go back to that one.

Even though the worker was polite, the fish fillet was cut in half and presented as a whole piece. I was told all the pieces are the same size and come already cut. This place is substantially different than the Livernois and Davison location. I will not be back.

Fried chicken wings are great. The only fish I’ve ordered is the perch and it’s not good. Way too much fried batter abs you can’t really taste the fish. Their French fries aren’t much better. But I definitely order fried wings regularly.

The Best fried chicken in town. When you tell them to fry your food hard they do exactly what you ask. No feathers on your food. Clean fresh chicken . Cooked like you order it. I highly recommend everyone to check them out. Love them definitely 5 Stars. Chantel Willis

Orange roughy was dry. I ordered lemon pepper wings. They gave me regular wings then gave me some Lemon pepper on the side to make up for it but thats not cooked with lemon pepper now is it. And the red beans and rice had celery and tomato paste to take up space or something because it was not good. The collard greens are bland and tasteless…. I wish i never went here. NEVER AGAIN!

Over fried on the shrimp. I had better at their spot on livernois and Davison and they didnt have cod fish. And like most carry out spots atmosphere can be very small, not updated like it would be in the suburbs.
