Mandi Cocina Mexicana is truly a hidden gem. It’s a smaller spot, but very intimate with great music and an awesome ambiance that makes the experience even better. The food was unbelievable.
We started with the guacamole, and you could immediately tell it was fresh and made right. I ordered the enchiladas en salsa verde, and they were absolutely amazing. Full of flavor and perfectly prepared.
We also had the pastor street tacos, which were flavorful and delicious, and the lengua tacos, which were incredible. Coming from a family with roots in Guadalajara, Mexico, I can say this was real lengua done right. Juicy, tender, and packed with flavor.
Honestly, this place is food porn for anyone who loves authentic Mexican cuisine.
Shout out to our server Ivy, who was very friendly, had a great smile, and gave us some excellent recommendations. Also a huge shout-out to Jairo, the bartender, who made us fresh margaritas. I had the cucumber jalapeño margarita, and it was the perfect balance of refreshing with just the right kick.
Hands down, one of my favorite Mexican restaurants around.

Had a good experience here. Got some street tacos and they were delicious. Food was not greasy or dry. Meat was cooked very well and the tortillas fit perfectly with the beef. Drinks were strong and good. Only had 1 drink and that was all I needed.
I will definitely recommend to anybody looking for a new spot. The sauce given was hot but the right amount of hot/spicy that made the tacos even better.

Stumbled upon this places looking for margaritas in the area man what a great find. They’re small and very cute. The service is fast except once the rush came in my drink order was passed to a different person. The pomegranate margarita was yummy and the Jamaica margarita was strong!

I came to Mandi’s on a Thursday for their fajita special. My family and I like our fajitas well done, and unlike other restaurants, Mandi’s had no problem getting them just right. Our server, Dionicio, was very polite and did an excellent job. We also ordered an agua de Jamaica and a lemonade—the Jamaica was delicious, but the lemonade was disappointing. The only downside to our visit was the strong smell of monomer when walking in, likely from the nail salon next door, which was a bit overwhelming. Overall, though, the service and food made for a great experience.

We only had an hour to kill so we found this lovely place. Queso Fundido with chorizo and ploblanos was amazing. Tasty salsa and the drinks hit the spot. Wish we had time to try more of the menu. We will definitely have to return. Thanks for the fantastic service

I had the Baja tacos with tempura fried seabass and they were incredible. Crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. Easily some of the best tacos I’ve had in Houston. The service was friendly and fast, and the whole place has a welcoming feel. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican with a modern twist, Mandi is worth checking out.

We stopped at this gem on a holiday road trip and decided we will come back every time we’re out this way. The service and atmosphere was excellent. They were attentive and had beautiful Spanish music playing. Most importantly, the food was delicious! The flour tortillas are so good, especially as a breakfast taco. 10/10 recommend.

First impression the place is very cozy. The quality of the food was excellent and so was the presentation. We even ordered a Carlota dessert and let me say it was very delicious and authentic. This is not your typical mexican food they really take pride of he few dishes they serve and it shows! Price range is mid range. Highly encourage for anyone or try this place a hidden gem.
