We ordered our usual favorites from Mandarin House on Baseline in Tempe—egg roll, crab puff, fried dumplings, house fried rice, chicken chow mein, and orange chicken. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The orange chicken had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, the chow mein was loaded with tender veggies and noodles, and the fried rice was a meal on its own. Always consistently delicious and satisfying. Highly recommend for takeout!

We recieved Uber Eats delivery. The first time was Nov 15. All of the food was excellent & perfectly cooked – General Tso’s with brown rice, and egg roll, 1 order of steamed dumplings, 1 order of fried dumplings, and a noodle dish (chow fun, -sp?).
Today, General Tso’s was SO overcooked, it was not edible. It was awful. A black hair was in my brown rice. The string beans were good. The egg roll was good. The steamed dumplings were very good.
The inconsistencies are troublesome. Not sure ordering again.

I love the kung pao chicken and crab rolls here. They’re my favorite in town. We also love getting the fried rice and general tsos. All of these dishes I highly recommend. We order here monthly and it never disappoints

Ordered take out- and I think that’s where they have an opportunity. I got Mapo Tofu, and it had no spice. None. The sauce was brown, not red. This is Mapo Tofu if you think you’re serving it to someone with zero spice tolerance. It was tasty- but definitely not what I was expecting. A spice selection option when ordering this dish could better align expectations vs reality.
The wonton soup was lovely- beef wontons in a light, very gingery broth.
The happy family got a 10/10, and the pork chow mein was tasty but nothing extraordinary.

I was struggling to find somewhere to eat while fasting and was referred to The Mandarin House by the Noble dentist office. I’m so glad I gave it a try! I ordered the chicken with white rice and broccoli and it was absolutely delicious – just like great quality Chinese food should be.
The atmosphere at the restaurant was unique and inviting. It felt like nobody was working, but everyone was living and enjoying their time there. It’s clear that the staff takes great pride in their work and the food they serve.
Overall, I had a great experience at The Mandarin House and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for some fantastic Chinese food. Make sure to check it out!

I’m always nervous to try new places when i’m doing delivery, especially with doordash’s crazy prices… But I took a chance with this restaurant due to the great reviews!
I feel the portions were very fair for the original prices and all of the food was good, or great. (I’ve had more flavorful takeout rice, but really enjoyed the orange chicken!) I can tell the crab rangoon would have been perfection if I had gotten pickup/fresh We will definitely have to try some more stuff from here
