Please stop and visit, it’s worth it! We ordered: coconut miso soup, the akuma (a MUST try), the halibut crudo, ryujin roll, kyuubi roll, and the bad & buri roll. I can’t pick my fav roll bc honestly they were all so good! Each dish was presented beautifully, including my cocktail (another lychee cocktail). The staff!!!! Everyone was so friendly, attentive and the atmosphere was very inviting. I’m so happy we decided to visit this place. I’ve finally found a great sushi spot. We will definitely be returning!

Popped in for date nite. 1st time here. Wonderful experience. The service was great. We got the coconut miso soup, shishito peppers, both veggie nigiris, spicy tuna roll, seared scallop (fav), and the midori roll. 10/10 recommend. Oh yea the rice lager was awesome too ; )

Taiwanese here. I’ve been to Japan 5 times, eaten lots of sushi and I have to say this place has completely blown my mind. Super fresh and tasty with unique sauce and spices. Service is also the best in town. And hear me out, this tuna hand roll is the best I’ve ever had in my life… you should definitely get one!!! Oh and definitely needs to come early to get a seat!

Chef Joe is such a creative and intentional chef. His dishes are all incredible and unique! The sashimi and nigiri were fresh and delicious. GM Cyndi was very attentive to our table. She made us feel so welcomed and did a wonderful job explaining each dish to us. Highly recommend to any Phoenician who wants proper sushi in a unique and cool part of downtown!

Life changing. I got the shishito peppers, coconut miso soup, seared miso halibut, seared salmon, the orange blossom and ryujin. The only thing that was less than perfect was the peppers, only because they were a little bland, but still good! The miso soup, all of the sushi and the maki rolls were some of the craziest and best tasting combinations I’ve ever had. It was all so fresh and the sear was so delicious and smoky. I still think about this place daily almost a month later.

Sake Haus is our go to place in Phoenix for their Sake selection and they have an amazing happy hour with 50% off all sake glasses and 25% off all food. Finding a diverse Sake selection is not always easy but Sake Haus has so many that I’ve never seen at other restaurants in the valley. My favorite is the Six Poets which comes in at only $7 a glass during HH.
We were just in Phoenix for an event and decided to hit Sake Haus and it didn’t disappoint. While the main draw for me is the sake, the sushi is also high quality. If you can make HH it’s an absolute 5 star place for quality vs cost and a must while you’re in the downtown Phoenix area.

What a really cool sushi restaurant that immerses you with its decor. Stepping in to the back seating area was breathtaking to see the bar set up with a cool vibe and Japanese decorations.
Francesca was a really amazing server to have. It’s rare for someone to be so proficient and knowledgeable about the menu they are serving. She asked the right questions to understand what flavor profile I might prefer in a sake despite my basic palate . She was really helpful in selecting various sushi rolls which were delicious in their own regard.
The signature seared salmon nigiri is a chefs kiss of perfection. The salmon is well seasoned and melts in your mouth as you take a bite. The signature seared tuna was almost as good though I prefer salmon over tuna.
I can’t wait to return to spoil myself with this high quality sushi!
