It’s a restaurant I go to at least twice a month! The pizza is AMAZING
The focaccia is perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside!
The beef carpaccio… I don’t even need to say how tasty it is!!!
The pastas we ordered were really good too, just needed a little more salt
And for dessert, the tiramisu… I could eat it every day if I could haha
Our server was Brittany and she was super nice and attentive, made us feel really comfortable!
I’d give it a 10/10000000

This was my first visit to Mamma Luca, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I was greeted with a very warm welcome upon arrival. As a solo diner, I chose to sit at the bar and loved being near the wood-fired oven on a cold, snowy night—it was the perfect cozy reprieve after walking around Christmas shopping.
I started with a holiday sangria (pictured), which featured warming spices in a classic red sangria. Very tasty and festive! For my meal, I opted for the Margherita pizza, and it did not disappoint; perfectly crispy crust, fresh mozzarella, fragrant basil, and a delicious, well-balanced sauce.
I was also offered focaccia bread with extra-virgin olive oil, which was a lovely touch. The bartender was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere at the bar was cheerful and festive. Everyone seemed to be in a great mood, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
I can’t wait to go back and try more items from the menu.

We had an early dinner here on Saturday and it was truly an amazing experience. Our server was fantastic, attentive and engaging. We ordered several appetizers and a few mains to split amongst the table. Everything was delicious, will balanced and fresh. Highly recommend.

Their Pumpkin Pizza is one of the most delicious dishes I’ve ever tried—truly out of this world! My 10-year-old daughter loved it too, and the Prosciutto Pizza was equally amazing, with a very generous amount of prosciutto. While we waited for our takeout, they surprised us with free Italian ice cream drizzled with olive oil—absolutely divine! The staff was super friendly and full of smiles, and the Italian music playing in the background made the whole atmosphere even better.
Pro Tip: There’s free Parrott Avenue Parking just a few blocks away.

Came here on a recommendation of a friend to do an early christmas dinner with parents. Very welcoming and kind staff, especially with dietary restrictions with some of us being vegetarian. Very well done cocktails and the food was perfect! Pizza and large plates (the eggplant parmesan was amazing) were both good. A little loud, but the ambience was nice and will definitely be back!

We were up in Portsmouth for anniversary weekend; every bit of this restaurant was one of if not THE best food experience my wife and I have had.
Starting with our server; Samantha, she was personable, thoughtful, and insightful with everything on the menu.
We pretty much ordered one of everything on the menu and had some unbelievable cocktails, too.
The octopus was cooked perfectly, the oxtail was exquisite, clarified bourbon cocktail!?, and pastas were world class.
I could go on for another 4 paragraphs on their pizza and nightcap of gelato w olive oil but I recommend this place to any and everyone; we literally would drive 3 hours back up just for dinner.
Top notch, enjoy your next dinner!

We celebrated a birthday and Valentine’s Day all in one – and had a great time. A bit loud in there, but food was great, and our server was a hoot! Drinks were garnished with cute orange peel with a heart ❤️

Had reservations for a Saturday night but ended up just sitting and eating at bar when table was ready. Bartender was the only one making drinks for the restaurant and she was doing a great job. Wasn’t showing stress for a busy night. The Rosetto viola was delicious. We split the house made ricotta, calamari, Tagliatelle bolognese and Bagna Cauda Pizza. Plenty of leftovers to bring home as the homemade Foccia brought to bar, with drinks was filling and amazing.

We don’t usually have dine out like this but what a treat for Valentine’s Day. Absolutely amazing food and service here. The prices to me were very comparable to what others would charge..but I had homemade pasta!

Went for lunch twice now. The staff were engaging and were able to explain the menu. We met Mario the owner and head chef . He knows his food especially his pizza . From the anchovy pizza ( which is not what you think it is ) to the pork cutlet to the oxtail pasta . Everything is made in house and it really shows. The pizza doigh is amazing and the fresh homemade pasta is a must try. He also told us they make their own ricotta too. They are building a deck outside for summer dining . Can’t wait . Good Italian food is hard to find but great Italian food is rare to find . This place is a rare find !
