I called before placing this review, but the person they said would call me back, Candace I believe never called. These mushrooms were completely raw and there was zero crab meat. The Alfredo was like eating soup, the sauce was literally water consistency. Would still love a call back and a refund! The salad and the homemade ranch was very good.

Went for lunch with my mom & we were very pleased. We ordered the sweet chili Brussels sprouts for an app – they were great. We did pasta and chicken lunch items, which came with salads – also great. I especially appreciated that the salads were large and freshly made, and that the Brussels sprouts were fresh and cooked correctly (not soggy – still had a little bite plus a nice char). The waitress was super sweet, smiling and tentative – never had to wait on a water refill & the food came quick. Overall positive experience!

Waitress was really nice. But I think they must be going out of business? I ordered Charbroiled Oysters, we don’t have those anymore, okay give me the Oysters Rockefeller, we can’t make that, okay give me the Flounder, no we don’t have that either, okay give me the Red Snapper, we don’t have that either….We left after that…

I am so appreciative to Cypress for hosting our group last night and providing excellent service. Despite the fact that the restaurant had two very large parties (15 and 40) plus regular diners, our orders were taken promptly, and our food arrived quickly (and accurately!). Our server, Megan, was so pleasant, and the man assisting her had a fantastic attitude. We’ll definitely be back!

Myself and my wife came in Saturday 11/01/2025. First time we have ever been there. First thing we noticed when walking in was the “bayou/swamp” decor. Nice touch to see homage being paid to the area. Sat down at our table, and the table was sticky, not sure why. Our waitress was prompt to getting our drink order. When she came back we asked about the sampler appetizer, due to my onion allergy I have to be extremely careful what I order. She went to the kitchen a couple different times to ask which items had onions and which didn’t. We got gulf shrimp, crawfish dip with bowtie noodles and crawfish Mac n cheese. For our entrees we both ordered the sampler entree that had several options to choose from. The only option to get the sampler was with everything deep fried. Maybe in the future we can hope to see some charbroiled options, pan seared, or baked etc. We both had the gulf shrimp, catfish, scallops, oysters, and stuffed crab, I couldnt eat my stuffed crab due to the mix inside having onions. I will say though, the breading on everything brought back a core child memory flavor for me. Reminded me of a place in texas thats no longer around called granny’s, and they seemed to use similar seasonings for frying. Over all, we will be back, the food was definitely worth it. And the staff was extremely accommodating to my allergy.

The server was very kind and extremely knowledgeable. The gumbo was very tasty, the blackened shrimp salad and po boy were enjoyed thoroughly. The lunch special baked potato with crawfish cheese sauce was delicious especially for $13.95. I highly recommend visiting this establishment.

Had the oddest experience here. Came with my preteen daughter just for dessert and a drink since she was having a rough day. Never been before but it was on the way to where we were going. Ordered exactly that. Great service. The server was sweet and attentive. When the bill came, I was told I was charged for two orders of the dessert because I was served a larger portion than normal. Mind you, I never asked for anything but an order of the dessert. When it came, I handed it to my daughter and she happily ate and I tried some. I learned it was handmade and complemented that fact. Being told I was charged for two orders because i was served too large of a portion was WILD. I was absolutely flabbergasted. I was told the waitress would get in trouble if I didn’t just pay it. I did ask to speak with the manager since I was so confused by this whole experience. The manager admonished the server in front of me and my daughter for “serving a large piece”, argued with me for a moment before telling me she would remove it from my bill (after I asked why the customer would be penalized for something that had nothing to do with them), and then the server came back looking like she was going to cry. For the mental health of all who work there, I hope this restaurant gets closed down. They all need new jobs. Whoever is running this place like some kind of joke of a real business needs to rethink many, many things. I hope that server is OK. And honestly, I’m very confused by the manager’s choices, but it’s clearly indicative of a much larger leadership issue.

I ordered via DoorDash so I can’t speak on service or atmosphere, only reviewing the food but it was really, really bad. So they post wildly misleading photos online of their food— now I don’t know if these pictures were inspiration pics for how the dish would look in theory, or what, but attached is what the crawfish macaroni I ordered is advertised to look like. I am not exaggerating when I tell you what I got was elbow macaroni with a PILE of half melted shredded cheddar on top.. I wish I still had my pictures saved that I sent to DoorDash & could put them side by side but this was 3-4 months back and I clear my gallery out every so often. The second item I ordered was a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo and upon opening it…it sort of looked like ground beef inside. Like I’m not sure if it solidified somewhat but I was not bold enough to try it.
Was refunded completely by DoorDash but I am not ever able to try the food here again… that was too much.
I also find the review by Dino Githens interesting. Sure they could be waiting on redfish or flounder, seems a little coincidental but the oysters thing is just a flat out lie. Oysters are available year round in Louisiana and every other seafood restaurant in the area has them all year. And we all know that. Just odd.

Me and two of my friends went for dinner on 10/30 and we were impressed. Our server Breanna was fantastic! The food was awesome. We had the grilled redfish, hamburger, and I had the french cut porkchop that was one of the best I have ever had. Recommend this place and I will definitely be back.
