I walked into Mama’s Pizza genuinely excited to try it, especially after seeing it on TikTok. But that excitement faded fast. The interaction with the server was so dry and bland that it set the tone for the whole visit. I was barely greeted, The only thing he told me was, there was no more buffet and when I asked about the menu, he didn’t explain anything—he just pointed at the board behind him. By then I was already disappointed, and the pizza didn’t help. The pizza was so tasty looking! The cheese was melted and the pizza was hot, but the red sauce for some reason was cold and chunky, which made the whole thing taste off. Overall, I went from excited to completely let down. The service and the pizza both left a bad taste, and I won’t be back. But the restaurant is very clean ! Building is old but the place is clean. But if you would like a buffet pizza, just save your money and go to Cicis. Unfortunately, the big chains are now the way to go.

There’s just something about their ‘buttery’ delicious pizza crust that keeps us coming back. We drive from Rowlett at least twice a month and it never disappoints. We’ve eaten both the buffet and ordered whole pizzas to-go. It’s consistently great. Don’t skip the homemade ranch dressing on the salad bar and always save room for a fresh cinnamon roll!

Food is great! They haven’t changed like so many have, it’s just great pizza! The buffet is always fresh and the salad bar is outstanding! Everything on the menu is exceptional as well!

One of the best pizza buffets I’ve tried. The pizzas are high quality and baked to perfection, and they take your requests to add toppings of your choice, making it a great custom experience. Their salad bar is fresh, well-stocked, and full of great flavors. Definitely a must-try!

Still great pizza. I grew up eating here as a kid. I delivered pizzas for this location in the 90s. Last weekend was the first time I had been back in town for 15 or so years and I was afraid either the pizza had changed or my memories made it better than it was. I was not disappointed at all. I love the classic decor. This is still one of my top 5 favorite pizza places in the country. I do miss the draft beer they used to have.

Stopped in for the lunch buffet. They have a salad bar, thin slice pizza of different types, pasta, cheese bread, and cinnamon rolls. None of the items are worth writing home about but they were all decent. Restaurant is showing wear and is very dark. Over all it’s fine for lunch.

Now, this is a hidden gem!!! Seriously, it was a great pizza and said bar. The pizza is perfect !! The sauce on the pizzas was not overbearing and plenty of cheese!! The Salad bar was very clean and had everything you needed!! Now to the cinnamon rolls…omg!!! They almost melt in your mouth!! We will be back to Mama’s Pizza when we are in the area. Highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed if you like hot, fresh pizza!!

Buffet kind of goofy, there’s like 4 options but I do appreciate that the salad bar is fresh so that’s nice and I mean you get for what you pay for I guess. Cheap buffet, cheap food. This place was definitely over-hyped in TikTok and most likely they went to the Dallas location but still wouldn’t go to other locations. A hole in the wall you can miss to be honest, your not missing out on anything.

Stopped by while in the area with the family. The service was good, and the atmosphere was good as well. It’s a very small pizza place like your mom and pop places you most likely visit already. The salad bar all had fresh produce and it was good! However, I rate the pizza a 3 because it was coming out fresh and hot, but they only had 4 pizzas out at a time. You can request a pizza like your favorite pizza places but it’s not for your table, they place it on the buffet line when there’s a place for it. Some of the pizza came out harder than a rock but unsure how long it had been there since it seemed like the crust was pretty thin. They don’t put much sauce on the pizza either so feels a little dry.

Mama’s Pizza the name really says it All. This pizza is a taste of homemade & home cooked goodness that you absolutely have to try. The pizza is always Hot and Fresh. The Salad bar is always crisp, cold, and fresh. Don’t forget your cheesy breadsticks and pasta . To finish it all off you have to grab a piping hot Cinnamon Roll. I have been eating here for 24 years and I can’t recommend this place enough. If I could give them 10 Stars ⭐️ I would.
