Restaurant was clean with good number of seatings, and the service was prompt. Food was decent and warm. I ordered the eggplant in garlic sauce, and okra stir-fried with shrimp. The eggplant dish was a little too salty for my liking. It was supposed to be a little spicy but it wasn’t. The okra dish was not too bad. The okra wasn’t mushy and soft which was good. But I wished it was spicier.

The restaurant is located inside Jusgo supermarket building and parking is very convenient. This is an authentic Malaysian food with excellent taste and you dont want to miss the full-flavored Mamak curry laksa noodle. Roti canai is crispy outside and Tal, sambal and curry are fabulous. We tried few Malaysian restaurants in the area and this could be the closest compared to Malaysia local food. Another highlight is the char koay teow!

I discovered this restaurant by chance as it was tucked away in the corner of the corridor. After looking at the menu, I finally decided to try fish fillet curry laksa which is basically a soup with noodles in coconut flavor. It was very flavorful and tasty. The only gripe was that the fish fillet had a little more battered than I would have liked. Next time I will try out the Nasi Goreng which is listed on the menu as special fried rice.

The Penang Char Kway Teow goreng is tasty. Closer to the authentic taste in Malaysia. Not bad at all. Good customer service from Ah Mun

Pretty good Malaysian food in Sugar Land. I went for the first time and got the sizzling home-made tofu and it was very tasty. I also got the roti canainwith beef rendang. The beef rendang was very soft and I like the three different options for dipping your roti canai with. I will be back to try other dishes!

It’s our first time dining at mamak Malaysian restaurant. The food we order is delicious and it’s serve quick and hot. The only thing I give 4 star in service because we still eating and the server is in hurry to finish us like take the bill that we did not ask yet. And ask for to go plate that we are not ready yet. The restaurant is clean. Thinking for coming back but hoping we just have some peace when we like to live.

The waiter there was super friendly, we went on a late Sunday afternoon so it was pretty empty. The sizzling tofu was really good. Outside is a bit crunchy and the inside is like egg. Also ordered this vegetable dish which was okay.
