I used to come here back when they only had non-halal options and always ordered the vegetable laksa — it was my go-to comfort dish for years. But now that they’ve gone fully halal, I had to stop by and finally try more of the menu… and wow, I’m so glad I did! ✨
The chicken satay was perfectly seasoned and super tender, and the peanut sauce it came with was absolutely delish . The kids were also big fans of the roti & curry — clean plates all around!
While the veggie laksa will always have a special place in my heart, the chicken curry laksa was no less amazing! A rich, warm coconut curry broth with perfectly cooked noodles, shredded chicken, and so much flavor in every bite — total comfort food vibes.
Safe to say, we’ll definitely be back to try more items off the menu! If you’re in Sugar Land and craving Malaysian food, this spot deserves a visit

Absolutely one of the best Hainanese Chicken dishes I have tried. Laksa and Beef Rendang were also delicious but not for those with low spice tolerance. Staff are attentive and very nice. This was a surprisingly authentic and yummy find inside this strip mall.

Good location with a casual but classy atmosphere and delicious food that you can not find just anywhere. Hainan chicken is definitely a favorite because it is always fresh, but it can sell out late in the day. Sizzling tofu, salt and pepper calamari, sweet sour shrimp, beef flat noodles are also amazing. Service is on point. Great value for money. Love this place!

It’s a very simple establishment but serves up really authentic Malaysian food. We tried Penang Assam Laksa which is fish noodle soup. Really yummy and my other family had nasi lemak with the various meats. Plus their Hainanese Chicken Rice is a definite must try! Very authentic! It even came with the typical chilli and ginger sauce. And to top it all…it’s Halal! What a bonus!

Roti canai was amazing. Seafood wan tan hor was perfectly made, salt pepper calamari was delicious. I took it home on a 3 and half hour journey, and it still tasted so good.
We had a number of to go orders, so I can’t wait to try those.. nasi lemak and golden rice with beef rendang.
Service was amazing! Can’t wait to come back with the family.

Chicken Satay 5/5 They use chicken thighs and it’s good.
Chicken Wings 4/5 Not bad, could be better.
Penang Asam Laksa 5/5 Not bad considering this is the only place that sells it.

I visited with a Malaysian friend who had been raving about how good the food was. He wasn’t lying because I enjoyed every single meal I tasted. We ordered a variety of items – fried calamari, satay beef & chicken, roti with curry sauce, stir-fried noddles, coconut rice with fried chicken, and sizzling pepper beef – all of which were absolutely delicious. I appreciated the quick and friendly service also.
