We have eaten here several times. The restaurant is always quiet and clean. Service is always great. The owner has welcomed us herself. I generally get the Tilapia Basil, but have also had the Flounder Basil and Penang Curry Chicken. I like that you can mix any of the proteins with the various dishes.

I would recommend that you eat here.

We have eaten here again, and, as always the food, is great. Unfortunately, there are rarely more than a couple of patrons here. If you have not tried Mama Sidas then you are denying yourself a great meal.

Stopped by while passing through Morrow and tried the chicken coconut soup (why isn’t it called tom kha? ). It was so good I came back the next day for two more portions — 10/10! Medium is mild enough even for non-spicy eaters, but I’ll try hot next time. Tea Rose and chicken satay were also delicious. Only downside: the to-go containers are flimsy and the spoon is tiny, making it tricky to eat in the car. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in town.

I’m vegan and I love their vegetable pho and veggie rolls. Sometimes I alternate between glass noodles or rice noodles. Either noodle compliments the pho. The staff is also very friendly!

The drunken noodles can be made vegan as well and it’s delicious.

We love Thai food and wanted to check this place out. Ordered Tom Yum soup, papaya salad, Penang curry and Mango sticky rice. First taste of all of them was delicious and heart warming. Healthy portions. The ambience gives cozy home cooking and the staff are friendly and welcoming. They also had a sizable vegetarian menus.

If you’re lookin for your local Thai soul food spot – THIS. IS. THE. PLACE

This is some of the best Thai food I’ve eaten in my life!!! First seen this restaurant on TikTok with the food stalker and I have been hooked ever since, the only reason I don’t have pics is because I start eating when I get back to the car ‍♀️ i literally always get halfway through and remember I’m supposed to be reviewing the food anywho I always order the Thai fried rice, no peas, carrots or cucumber, order that with the spicy house sauce (you will try to come back daily) I also order the tea rose for my appetizer, they are SO DELICIOUS! I would recommend to get an extra sauce that they come with!!!! So recently I wanted something different and just asked they guy I always see in there (son of the owner) what else should I try, he gave me a recommendation so cold, I eat it maybe 3x a week (ITS THE PAD THAI) when I say it’s the absolute BEST I’ve had hands down! I would NOT lie about no food! Thankfully it’s in Clayton county where I reside and it’s close to Southlake mall- right across from Harley Davidson’s, also try the Thai tea if your into that taste, it was gone before I left the parking lot!!! I would always recommend mama Sidas to anyone that’s in the mood for some good Thai food, matter of a fact it’s THE ONLY place id recommend on the southside, iykyk ❤️

Lunch time was not busy, there was a lunch menu and all orders during lunch came with a hot spring roll. Everything was fresh and came out in great timing considering the amount of tables and servers. The food was average, while hot and fresh, the beef in the beef salad lacked flavor as well as the spring roll. The Thai tea was sweetened nicely but was okay in taste. The servers were nice and the facility was clean.

Loved this place been thinking about it ever since I left. Small staff but they are very hard working, attentive, and polite. Food is fresh and delicious. Mama came out and personally greeted and thanked everyone for coming out once the crowd died down. She Definitely needs a sign on the street to draw in more business me hidden gem back there. Can’t wait to come back
Coconut Lemongrass Mushroom Soup was just what I needed to kick the end of my colds BUTT

The service was a little slow and unorganized due to them being short staffed. Patience is required. Once my order did come out, I could tell by the steam that it was hot and freshly made. I was informed that my order could be made any way I wanted it to be because they do not cook the food until after it has been ordered. The food was very fresh and it was absolutely delicious and flavorful. This was the best Thai food that I’ve had in Metro Atlanta. I highly recommend eating here.
