Clean, friendly, good pizza but they are stingy on cheese. Get extra cheese and you will have tasty pizza! Mushrooms on pizza are the wet boxed or canned type, not fresh. But the crust is good which makes the pizza for me.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten! Love the atmosphere and the owner is an incredible person with an awesome story. Great food friendly staff, and she still has the original 3 quarter turn jukebox that she bought when she opened and it still works. And speaking of working, the owner who is 93 years old works 12 hours a day hand making the pizzas herself every day and has since she opened many years ago using authentic family recipes. It is definitely a treat to visit if you are ever in the area.

Lottie and waitress was very nice. Food, left much to be desired. I couldn’t believe they didn’t have sweet tea! The unsweetened tea I ordered was so horrible and I couldn’t drink it. The pizza, even though I known it’s from scratch was not good – tasted more like a frozen pizza heated up. I love the idea that this place has been around forever and that she is still doing what she loves at 93, but I just can’t throw away my money on food that isn’t worth it.

Got the Mama Mia’s Special pizza. Excellent fresh toppings! The pizza sauce is fantastc and the dough/crust is very good. The spaghetti with meat sauce was wonderful. A slightly zesty sauce – yum. We got meatballs on it, too (additional charge). They were delicious. The bread seved with the spaghetti was good, not great (no butter). Staff was pleasant but appeared to be stretched too thin to handle a Friday night crowd.

Awesome local pizza with super friendly and super sweet staff. When I went here for the first time on a date with my boyfriend, the waitress was so sweet and told us a little about their story. Mama Mia herself is still making pizzas today, at over 90 years old!

Love Mama Mia’s! It is our go to for dinner about once per month. The pizza dough homemade and spun to order. Momma is almost always there spinning dough. The crust is always cooked to perfection. Be sure to take cash as debit cards are not taken. She does take checks but only local ones.

My favorite restaurant in all of Roane County! Lottie the owner is a local treasure that can still be seen slinging dough regularly at the age of 93!
Best pizza I have ever eaten! Her Italian sausage, pepperoni, and xtra cheese is my favorite. You have to try it!!!

Mama Mia’s was one of my aunt’s favorite restaurants so it seemed fitting to stop there after visiting hours at the funeral home when my aunt passed away. About thirty of us went in ON THE SPUR OF THE MOMENT without advance notice about 730pm on a Friday night! We were greeted graciously; and the staff QUICKLY took us to the large back room, pushed tables together and seated us. Some ordered pizzas with varied toppings; some ordered spaghetti & salad; some meatball sandwiches; etc and everyone wanted water & other beverages. Let me tell you the beverages & salads with bread came out first (as they should) and the meals were all served promptly at the same time…with smiles, I might add! We were able to say our Grace and enjoy our delicious meals together – at the same time – without further ado. THIRTY OF US! It was amazing!
The decor might be from the 50s but so am I; and I found it quite charming!

This place is a staple of our town. Opened in the 70’s, a lot of people have grown up eating here, including myself. They also make the only Speghetti my son will eat, and Lotti, and the rest of the staff always takes the best care of us.
Yes some complain that they don’t do checks or credit, well get over it because you are missing out on some of the best pizza made to not have some cash in your pocket!
Come in, get a pizza and a pitcher of beer, play some old school music on the juke, or play classic games in the back room (yes you’ll need some quarters). Nostalgia and great food await you!

I was curious to try this place because it was the only restaurant I have not been to in Kingston. The Pizza here is like any pizza you would find in a school cafeteria/ bowling alley/ gas station. People in town often Boast about the Sauce but it is very mediocre and has No taste. Even though the Owner was very nice the waitresses are very rude and nasty and should probably have background checks and drug tests assessed. The wallapaper inside the restaurant is peeling and the place is very outdated. I would not recomend this restaurant to anyone, it was a very scary experience.
