We sat at the bar and ordered a drink and our food. I got the Mushroom Swiss Burger and it was sooooo good. I didn’t do the bun and I’m glad I didn’t. It tasted sooooo good without it. The fries were straight fire. I love crispy fries and these were done right. My boyfriend got the Blackened Chicken Sandwhich on a Gluten Free Bun and he raved about how good it was.
The bar tender was really friendly and service was fast and very efficient. I will definitely be back!
Décor? Ordinary. Menu? Ordinary. Beer list? Ordinary.
That’s a summary of our recent experience in this place. Nothing bad, nothing special.
We’ve seen the signs that they’re coming for months. And they opened in Oct 2024, but this was our first opportunity to try them out. Walking in, the bar hits you right in the face and then you notice how wide open and empty all the space is. There are high tops scattered around and some low table around the wide-open area. It was a nice day, so we chose to sit outside, in their patio / deck. It’s also pretty open with the same furnishings. Tables and chairs are black medal and the same as the interior ones.
The menu features hamburgers and sandwiches. All the standards are there. Nothing unusual or particularly unique. All come with fries as a side. One salad. You can make some upgrades, like add another patty to your burger. Oh, you can substitute a side salad for the fries, but then there is an upcharge of $3 for that. Really? An upcharge for a side salad? Hmmm…
The beer list is also ordinary. Yuengling. IC Light, Miller, Bud, you get the idea. Some in cans, some bottles, some drafts. The most adventuresome beer was the Sam Adams seasonal beer. Really.
We ordered a Mushroom Swiss Burger and a Cajun Chicken. They came in due course and we bit into them. YOWZIR!!!! How much salt did they use on that burger??? It was on the verge of inedible. The fries were salted, but significantly less so than the burger itself. The chicken sandwich was messy, but not bad. Prices were reasonable for what we got.
But given how ordinary everything was (setting aside the high salt quotient), is there really any reason to go back? Not really.
The bbq burger is crazy good
The bacon bleu will knock your socks off
Old school fries will change your life and the buffalo chicken fries will capture your soul
Don’t get me started on the wings and chicken sammi

Blackened chicken sando will make you want to order another to go
AND if you have time happy hour flat breads will have you calling your family and telling them about it for weeks to come
