First time trying this restaurant and I’m impressed. Food is tasty, very grandma/mom home styled. There is a huge selection of choices. The portion is fairly big (i went for late lunch and had some leftovers for dinner).

As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of breakfast, I can’t recommend this amazing restaurant enough! When the locals are lining up at the door, you know you’ve found a gem of a place. From the second we walked in we were greeted by Tom and told a table was being cleaned right away for us. Before we could settle in to wait, it was ready and from that moment on we were treated to a delightful experience. Come to find out, Tom, who seated us and brought our drinks, is Mama Kay’s dad. You could sense a fast paced, happy urgency in every person working there, ensuring the customers’ needs were met immediately.

Fantastic homemade corn beef and hash! And Mama K knows potatoes. The cheesy potatoes were delicious. All the staff were friendly and it seemed like they were a tight cohesive team. The atmosphere is welcoming and rustic. My son was enamored with the cows. Must try.

I usually go on weekends between 10:12am. It’s very busy during that time. Wait is usually 30min to an hour. For me it’s worth the wait. Food is good home cooking to say the least and service is friendly. The eating area is small and somewhat crowded but on the brightside it did appear there was evidence of remodeling going on last time I was there. It’s popular with the home town crowd very laid-back. For those from out of town it is close to old livestock auction area.

Great family style restaurant that is quaint with robust food and service. This location was recommended to me by my barber. Additionally, he recommended the cheesy potatoes. They did not disappoint. Food was served quickly and the service was excellent. The only negative is not their fault. Their location is not easily located near the street rather they are located further in and away from Ben Maddox. Also, their parking lot is a dirt field and with the recent rains it was interesting finding parking without having to walk over large puddles. However, this should not deter one from experiencing great service and food.

The place is not family friendly, if you bring a toddler they’ll charge you extra. Or so that’s how they made us feel, at first glance they seemed friendly, then they tossed our plates on the table and forgot about us, my husband had to eat his french toast without any syrup, we asked for ranch and at that point the waitress seemed annoyed by us, never brought it, my son had to get up and ask the other waitress entering the kitchen. But the worse part is, even with the bad service, they had the audacity to charge themselves more than $15 for a tip? For what service, they didn’t even stop by our table to ask if we needed refills? And the food is a joke, it taste horrible. I have officially learned my lesson in listening to any overrated location in reviews here in the central valley. Never coming back to this place. It’s news to me that a place will include tip on your bill for 4 plates?

Came here on a Friday morning. Wasn’t too busy, but got busier when I was leaving. It’s kind of hard to find on Ben Maddox, so once you pass Goshen going north on Ben Maddox the entrance is right after the factory on the left corner. When you drive in go to the end. It’s in the red barn.

It was my first time there. I never knew that this restaurant was there. It was crowded but we got in there pretty quick because we had a small group. Didn’t have a longtime to wait for our drinks , then take our order and get our food. Waitresses were nice. Place looked kool. Food looked and tasted delicious. And their Strawberry Lemonade was yummy. Prices weren’t bad. Will be back.
