We were searching for a non-fast-food rice meal nearby and found this restaurant. It’s located on South Center Parkway next to Bath and Body Works and Coldstone.

The staff who welcomed and assisted us was warm and friendly. We ordered takeout, and it was ready in less than 10 minutes.

Our order included 3 Jasmine Rice, Garlic Buffalo Wings, and Pad Thai. The rice portions were very generous; as shown in the picture, they gave us one cup of rice and two cups in one container. My husband and I couldn’t finish the two cups. The Garlic Buffalo Wings, consisting of 6 pieces, tasted good and we enjoyed them, though I don’t think they should be called Garlic Buffalo Wings since they tasted more like regular fried chicken. The Pad Thai was also served generously, enough for 2-3 people, but we couldn’t finish it because it was too sweet for our taste, different from the Pad Thai we’re used to. Overall, it was a good experience, and I recommend it to fellow Asians or anyone looking for rice or Asian cuisine in the area, as they offer a wide selection.

The restaurant is spacious and has parking. It’s open from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm., and they accept cards, though I’m unsure about cash. The menu states that a tip is required for groups of five or more, which is probably why we weren’t charged a tip, since it was just my husband and me.

Probably the best Thai food I’ve had and I’ve been to a lot of Thai spots ranging from burien to Kent, Renton, and west Seattle. This place is the most consistent with their food/flavors. I love that their phad see ew doesn’t taste like fish sauce like some spots I’ve been too. Only bummer is they aren’t on DoorDash or ubereats. Try it, you won’t regret!

Always generally a good experience here, food is consistent and service always great.

Last visit we ordered the crispy basil chicken, flavor was great but the chicken was extremely dry, very little thin pieces. It tastes double or triple battered and fried in old oil.

I work in the industry so its definitely the taste im getting. You get about 1/3 or 1/4 chicken and the rest is crispy batter. We expected it to be more chicken with a crispy layer. So this was a little odd.

The wonton soup was excellent and I loved the pad woon sen noodles/veggies, but the beef was tough, flavorless and not worth the extra cost. I will probably order these same dishes for takeout someday, just not the beef. As far as service, the staff seemed very nice, but we weren’t able to order drinks because once our food order was taken, we didn’t see our server until our food was brought to the table, and then not again until it was time to pay.

Mali Thai Cuisine offers an exceptional dining experience with truly authentic Thai flavors that transport you straight to Thailand . The dishes are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and perfectly balanced spices ️. I especially love their Mango Fish — it’s bursting with sweet and tangy flavors , and the generous portions ensure you won’t leave hungry ️. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a charming bamboo-themed decor that creates a relaxing, cozy atmosphere ️. The staff is friendly and attentive , making you feel right at home. Whether you’re a fan of spicy curries , fragrant soups like Tom Yum , or classic dishes like Pad Thai , Mali Thai Cuisine is a must-visit. Absolute disappointment! I rarely leave negative reviews, but the “rad na beef” was a complete travesty. The noodles were good, but the gravy was inedible – overwhelmingly sour and tasting of pure vinegar. After sending it back, the second attempt was excessively salty, clearly from just dumping in more fish sauce. As someone from a Thai and Laos family with restaurant experience, I know what authentic rad na should taste like, and this was a sad, imbalanced imitation. If they can’t get this classic right, I worry about their entire menu.

From other patrons reviews, this place has a nasty bug infestation. Eat at your own risk!

Great Thai food. Pad Thai. Green curry. Mango fish. Crab rice. All 5/5. Absolutely recommended if you’re craving for something great. Salt. Fat. Acid. Service excellent

Upon entering, you feel like you’re in a different country. The interior is decorated with bamboo, which immediately takes you away from the business of a day out shopping. We started with wings, but they basically brought out all the food at once. What’s the point of having an appetizer? Didn’t have much flavor. We ordered the pad thai and mango trout, which doesn’t include rice. Both were good. Staff wasn’t friendly just there to serve.

A popular and busy restaurant/tiki bar. My last supper before flying back. My hosts were kind and attentive to spend our last moments in delicious quality time. But I wasn’t hungry! So I had the fried bananas with mango ice cream. What a treat for three! A massive crunchy sweet soft battered bananas and mounds of ice cream. My hosts enjoyed as well. Love this place!

I’ve been here a few times and the food has always been great. This time, however, the service was slow. I asked the waitress for an extra plate so I could share the papaya salad with my mom and her friend, but it took a long time for the plates to arrive. We eventually decided not to wait and ate the papaya salad with the rest of our food, which ended up being messy because of the fish sauce.

Aside from that, the food was still very good. For those who don’t like raw vegetables, I wouldn’t recommend the papaya salad, as it can be hard on the stomach—especially if you’ve recently had gallbladder surgery. I mention this because I didn’t realize my mom’s friend couldn’t eat raw food, so sticking to soup is a better option. Their soup is very good, and we really enjoyed it.
