A great New York style pizza restaurant mainly to go.
A wide variety of toppings are available, allowing you to order the pizza of your choice. You can choose different toppings on the right and left sides, so you can enjoy different tastes in a single pizza. There are also four different sizes to choose from (10“, 12”, 14“, and 16”), making it easy to adjust to fit the number of people and your appetite. I ordered the 10” to eat alone for lunch and it was just right. If I was a bit more hungry, I thought I could eat 12 inches as well.
You can order online and choose either to pickup or delivery. You can choose to pay by cash or credit card and since I chose to pickup and to pay by credit card, the payment was at the store when I picked it up.
I had Maldonado’s Special Pizza and it was really good! I ordered a sandwich and a caesar salad the following day. The sandwich came with a tiny potato chips.
I will definitely order again when I visit Palo Alto again.

Delicious pizza, affordable and great portion sizes. They also do half and half pizzas. The 14 inch seems enough for three people. They don’t skimp on the toppings and if you do pickup, they’re usually ready in 20 mins.
We loved the pesto pizza and the hearty vegetarian. The ranch sauce went great with them. We also liked the cheesy bread.
I didn’t ask if they are halal and just stuck to the vegetarian options.

This place does has been consistent since childhood. The cheese bread they make is the best in the Bay Area easily. I was visiting from Texas and I always got to stop by Maldonados Pizza for some good tasty food. Give them a try and satisfy your taste buds.

A family favorite. If we are not too hungry, we get the cheesy bread. So bready and cheesy and yum. My brother’s favorite is the Special, that has pretty much everything. They do a good job with the bread and the melty cheese. A medium feeds 2-3, but if you only eat 2 slices, can feed 4.

Only take-out: You cannot eat inside the shop apart from a few bar stools. I had a 12 inch Super Hawaiian pizza without bell pepper and I asked for less cheese. I liked the pizza since it was not too “heavy”. I payed $20 dollar which I find a bit expensive.

It was our first time trying this place and we weren’t disappointed. The plaza that it’s located in is not the nicest place out there but it’s not an issue since you’re not going to dine in. I had the vegetarian fantasy and my friend went with the BBQ chicken and we all loved our orders. Definitely recommend this place for pizza takeouts.

The ownership changed, the service and the food are definitely not the same anymore ….. I did not touch the garlic bread whatsoever this is exactly how it came. I called and they put the blame on me for not picking up when the delivery driver came earlier than the delivery said.

08.01.25 Deliberately made our way here as Google description checked for Dine-In option but the 2 guys working there said it’s PICK UP or DELIVERY ONLY. So googled for the best rated pizza near us and found Desi Pizza House on Moffet Blvd, only 2.0 miles away from Maldonado’s. Desi’s was super delicious and we were so glad for the “inconvenience” of having to find them!
We’ll give Maldonado’s a try next time but it’s in a behind the way area in a tiny strip mall consisting of a 7-11 and a laundromat, didn’t give off great vibes.

I’ve been coming to Maldenados Pizzeria since 2006, and it never fails to impress. Every visit brings back nostalgic memories, especially with their amazing breadsticks paired with the red and white sauce – an absolute must-have! Even though I now live out of town, I make it a point to stop by Maldenados every time I’m in the area. The quality and taste have remained consistently excellent over the years. Highly recommend this pizzeria to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable meal!
