During my stay in Cairo, I struggled to find meals that truly satisfied me, so I came here looking for Japanese food.

To be honest, my impression is that this is the kind of place you go to only when you really want Japanese food and have no other option.

The fried octopus, fried chicken, and pork ginger (although it had far too many onions) were all at a level that was simply “okay.”

Nothing special, but no major complaints either. On the other hand, the sashimi, cream croquettes, eel, and simmered tuna cutlet were quite disappointing.

If you eat them expecting proper Japanese cuisine, the gap between expectation and reality is noticeable.

I couldn’t really feel a good balance of flavor or quality ingredients, so these dishes are honestly hard to recommend.

There was also an issue with service.

The wine I first ordered was said to be unavailable, but later it turned out they actually had it.

Even then, the staff showed no sign of concern, which left a bad impression.

Overall, the service level was not very satisfying. This place feels like a last-resort option when you’re craving Japanese food in Cairo.

This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in the Middle East, even compared to places in Egypt. I brought my parents here and felt so embarrassed by how bad everything was — definitely not a place I’d recommend to anyone. we ordered 2sets of 8pcs sushi, fried udon, don Katsu, and an onigiri. People who ordered after us got their food first, and the staff were rude and careless.
When I complained, the food suddenly appeared.
No soy sauce for sushi, no napkins, and the staff were just chatting among themselves.
For a “hotel restaurant,” the service was worse than a street stall.
They even added a service charge — absolutely not worth it.

I must say it is a very good Japanese restaurant, run by a Japanese man who suggests daily dishes and guide you on the selection with honesty.
I recommend.

It is inside the hilton hotel, ground floor.
When entering the hotel hall, go left and walk to the corridor. You will see it on your ́left hand side.

Pretty good quality, although I expected a bit higher expectations. Sashimi was fresh and spinach salad was the highlight! Staff is very hospitable. Overall: definitely recommend!

I wanted to leave a review as I have seen a few not so great reviews recently and it nearly put me off coming. We had a truly excellent meal. The food was absolutely delicious (stand out dish was the marinated mackerel, but everything was great), the service was great and the food came promptly. Overall I would highly recommend.

One of the best Japanese restaurants you can find in Cairo. The Chef is Japanese and makes good sushi and other dishes too. I will definitely go there again. It’s a bit pricey but definitely worth the money.

One of the best spots for sushi in Cairo, Sashimi was great and fresh as usual, hoso maki rolls were on point. Shrimp tempura roll was one of my favs. No options for dessert except ice cream.

Very authentic Japanese food. But the service is absolutely terrible and basic, and I would never go back. Eg. We ordered a bento box with a variety of items and it arrived missing several pieces. After we noticed, they informed us that the menu was outdated and these items were no longer included in the bento box. It took an argument to get the items/replacements added to our order.

The food was really good, but the service was disappointing. I ordered sparkling water and had to ask twice again for it to be brought to the table. When I ordered sashimi, I had to request soy sauce separately, which should be standard with this dish. To top it off, there were two hairs on the plate, which was disgusting. Unfortunately, this left a bad impression despite the quality of the food.

The food is great, and the service is excellent. They help you discover items you haven’t tried before.
The food is very delicious, but the prices are quite high.
Honestly, I will definitely come back again.
The meal cost me 2,100 EGP.
The service is really wonderful, and the food comes out quickly.
Thank you!
